Questions about acquiring and using the Spell Power Cure set

First of all, does anyone know exactly which mobs drop this set? Here's what I found at one ESO wiki:

This site says "Drops from enemies, bosses, the Daedric Shackles and trophy vault in the White-Gold Tower". Can anyone verify this? It would be great if it were possible to get pieces of this set by solo grinding the trash mobs before the first boss in WGT. However, none of these mobs has dropped any set pieces the one time I tried this. I've never seen any "Daedric Shackles", either.

Secondly, can anyone who owns this set tell me if the 5 pc bonus procs on SELF heals? It would be awesome if my Sorc could proc this from Surge heals.

Different pieces drop from the bosses. They also drop embers. Shackles are used for the trophy vault in vIcp. The drop rate for a set piece from trash mobs is pretty low

Feet come from the trash mobs and all the others are from the bosses.

kill the bosses. it took months for me to get all pieces. farming trash is no solution ^^

Although I havent tested it myself, my buddy said he tested it and it does work.

If I remember when I get online later, I will throw my set on my sorc and try it out to confirm

Set procs on you and any allies withing range and will proc off any heal, including structured entropy, puncturing strikes sap essence etc etc

I got the helm light from molag kena,assume other pieces drop from different bosses

To proc 5th bonus, spam aoe heals. I have only 3 pieces and not sure about whether it gives you spell damage or not. Because it says;

""Healing an ally at 100% Health has a 50% chance of granting them 258 increased Weapon and Spell Damage for 10 seconds""

Few of my friends have this set and they said that it gives you spell damage buff...

Any heal on yourself or anyone else gives a chance for it to proc and buff the target. It gives the target both weapon and spell power as stated in the tooltip. There is a small cooldown of 1 sec or so, before a new "coin is tossed". Hots and/or self heals makes it so easy to have up most, if not all of the time.

I still cant believe they buffed it from 3 sec to 10 sec lol. Love the set and have several sets.

I run it on magblade time to time it procs off any self heals along with group and increases your spell damage not just your groups

Anything that says ally means you when incomes to buffs from passives ans sets.

This is the must have set for healers, the buff also gets increased by the Major Sorcery/Brutality so in practice its more than 500 extra spell dmg on my sorc.

I believe most healers use Rapid Regen to proc the set because its cheap to cast and the heals tick often, giving it a high proc change.

I have this set for my healer but only use it if I'm healing trials, cause I'm usually spamming healing Springs while group is balled up.

I use it everywhere, both as a healer and as a DD. I have only played with 2 healers and 1 DD who have had the set, so usually my teams benefit from me wearing it.

The most fun I've had with Spell Power Cure is to go to a lvl 7-12 dolmen, cast Extended Ritual in the middle of the fight, and see all the lowbies gain 250 spell power lol ...

I have a feeling you had a dawns Wrath ability active on you at the time, illuminate I think it's called. Gives you 5% extra spell damage, if you're using torugs pact swords your spell damage would actually be over 5k, but because they're glitched, it doesn't show. Add 129×1.35 to your spell damage.

129 x1.2 (major sorcery)
129 x1.3 (5 sorcerer abilities slotted)
129 x1.35 (5% illuminate)

You can work it out assuming you're wearing what I think you're wearing.

1602 Dual wield
299 Julianos 5 piece
129 Kena 1 piece
129 Torugs 2 piece
516 Kena 2 piece
174x3 willpower enchants
186 willpower 3 piece
250 SPC proc

=3713

x1.35 = 5012

Hope I'm not sounding patronising and you already know this. I'm not sure if dual wield should be 1682 for the .05 twin blade and blunt.

@Samphaa You're right, thats the setup and it appears the minor sorcery buff was applied as well.

Everything was legendary except for the epic reinforced shoulder piece so my Kena proc could be a higher. Im not sure if I had 5 sorc abilities slotted, I sometimes use Harness and Inner Light on my Overload bar. As far as I know the Torugs Pact swords spell dmg bonus was applied correctly.

The Twin Blade and Blunt passive is calculated afterwards, so its a % dmg increase instead of spell dmg increase.

Thats the exact same set up as me, I've even got an epic reinforced kena shoulder piece aswell, don't suppose yours is medium by any chance?lol

just farm wgt and you will get the set between the run drops and the embers chest. it seems to drop the most out of all the IC sets, at least for me.

Lol, certainly not the case for me. 150 or so runs and I have 9 SPC pieces = (1) reinforced boots, (1) infused belt, (1) divines helm, (2) well-fitted shoulders, (2) well-fitted legs, (1) well fitted hands, and (1) well-fitted chest.

Not just for SPC, but for all the vWGT sets, the piece breakdown is as follows:

Trash: Feet
Adjudicator: Legs / Waist
Three Guards: Feet
Planar Inhibitor: Chest / Shoulders
Molag Kena: Head / Hands


And, yes, you can self-proc it. It's an especially great set for magblades. In solo play, it's comparable to Julianos in my testing (performing ever so slightly better than Julianos). In a group where the healer isn't running SPC, it's an awesome set to run for buffing the overall group DPS. Also, in trials, if we don't have two healers running SPC, I'll DPS in SPC because the buff can only go out to 6 people, so we need 2 SPC users to cover the whole group of 12. The only time I'm using Julianos is if the healers already provide SPC coverage, in which case I can get the SD from both Juli and SPC that way.

Good luck trying to get it, though. I hate the RNG so much. It took me probably around 100 runs to get a decent set, and after well over 200 clears of vWGT (and 17 Kena helms), I still don't have a 5-divines perfect set (I have 4 divines, 1 infused).

i have probably gotten 10+ drops of spc in the past 4-5 days (maybe 3 runs a day at most), along with 3 kena helms. i have to decon them

but all i really wanted is overwhelming surge

The orb is not from SPC. This set's proc is shown as glowing blue hands on you and your mates who got the proc.

Good luck finding a group on xbox, I tried all night last night and the night before. I have two pieces to get. I don't care if it's wellfitted or prosperous, I just want the set lol. I'll farm the divines while wearing my spc.
