I feel like the "best" players are part of some old boys club.... Everyone scratches each other's back for who knows why but to get ahead in life. I am sure there are players that can kick their rears, but no one knows them because they don't publicize and wallow in self glory. Just sayin, that's how it usually goes irl and in game....

But the people on Eruditions list are without a doubt very very good.

Oh no doubt they're great players, but the best? I mean I could make weekly videos of my highlight reel and people would think I'm good too. A lot of these people run in small groups and never solo (sorcs excluded) which tells me a lot. The list is biased but can't shame anyone for that, there's no real means to accurately measure.

I know. Why I said they are very very good. And not the best. I don't think there is THE best player. Liking a player or not always goes into that opinion. Some players I just think are idi*ts and I would rather bite my tongue then admitting they are good...and some of them are on that list....so much for being objective.

I play a lot with a friend, who is an awesome DK. He doesn't go to the forums and he doesn't care about twitch, streams and bla...so yeah...not many people know him...he still amazingly good. Just saying...

In my opinion, at the highest level of play, people are pretty much the same level of skill. They just play slightly differently, and class and build differences, counters, and balance become very apparent.

Except for the guys with leadership after their name every single pvp person on that list can play and has played solo. I've fought most if not all of them solo in cyro.

The best players are the players that wipe the floor with that list, and don't care about celebrity status, these lists are nothing more than a popularity contest has no direct correlation to skill, mostly how many broken and exploitable game mechanics one can cram on their bars. /shrug

The best player on ESO is the one that can defeat everyone on the game. He shows up every single day multiple times. No other player is safe from his presence. He is often found with his partner, the Lag Monster. He is Load Screen Boss. He is so skilled that he shows up in PVE too. Not even the devs know how to defeat him and Lag Monster.

Also, deleting any post from @Publius_Scipio is a near criminal act, the man is the biceps of these forums and main supplier of greek yogurt to anyone in need.
It's like you want us to leave and stop giving the game money, there was nothing going on except some friendly rivalry pot shots. And some reminiscing of players from back before cyrodiil was an absolute joke.

Not surprising, they'd be the players and leaders he's most familiar with, but this list is very heavily weighted in favor of the players he's played most with. Everyone on his list in undoubtedly a good player, but the list is really "Who's the best player I know?" which is a far smaller pool to choose from than "Who's the best player in ESO?"

For some more balance, I'd add a few people:
