Unplayable Crashing (every 5 mins)

This game has become unplayable for me and I'd like some help figuring it out.

I literally crash every three minutes. I've uninstalled addons, ran with addons, ran solo, in a group, multiple areas, updated my drivers, rolled back my drives, done a repair, etc, etc, etc.

Yes, I've ran both 32 bit and 64 clients as admin and continue to have the exact same problem.

I can't express how frustrating it is to get a new patch only to not be able to play it.

What am I missing here?

For what it's worth, we're working to get a fix out for the issue causing many of the crashes as soon as possible. It's our #1 priority fix right now.

You're correct. We just provided a few troubleshooting steps in an effort to help those who are not impacted by the main cause of many of the current crashes.

Wow

People been reporting various of game changing bugs for months *cough* Khajiit passives *cough* (just on example) and no one cared, and this thread somehow needed 4 mins to get a reply from ZOS

Lot of crash is about : d3d9 / d3d11, old sweetfx configuration !

Check your usersettings, check your .dll (in your client folder) maybe missing ?

@ZOS_JessicaFolsom , the last boss in vmol even include way more crashes then the whole dungeon together. Hope this wasn't the same bug as in early pts... since it kind of feels like so...

This has been happening to a lot of people.

Two MoL runs, where everyone being connected at the same time is a rarity. Even the first week of PTS was more stable than this!

Agreed. Wrong DirecX will cause crash regularly...

But it was nothing wrong with Khajiit passives. There was something wrong the crit passives medium armor and pressure points.

Because racial passives and other things are less important than people not being able to play the game.

Constant crashing = pissed off players = abandoning game = less money for ZOS = priority fix asap = ?????? = profit

@Deltia @ZOS_JessicaFolsom are you guys serious? you answer deltia on a duplicate thread in literally 4mins?l! here you are sooo sorry that he is crashing in the other thread you are aware that crashes exist. this explains why you don't care about the issues of some and hotfix other stuff.
the fps instability and performance issues were known on pts you just let it go live if this game is going south blame nothing else

Turning down the graphical settings worked wonders for me.

Crashed all the time between 1 and 20 minutes after the patch.

Turned down al the graphical settings a notch or two and have been able to play a whole session of 2,5 hours before I had to log.

My question is, why should turning down the graphics be the solution to the problem. I didn't pay $400 on a video card to play a minecraft looking ESO.

Still have random crashes on 64 and 32 bit. I stick to 32 bit with crashes spread farther apart compared to 64 bit every 5-10 min. I have tried and do not like the proposed fixes as well as lowering graphics settings that have worked sense the start of the game. I have had the same system sense launch. I built it for ESO.

For those who complain of us complaining, maybe we don't copy and paste script into our posts or sit at our systems with a running detailed log of every crash. Maybe we try and immediately log back in hope it doesn't happen again for no reason, so we can loot the boss, not get kicked from zone, etc.

One would think with all these reports/ complaints that the Employees of ZOS would log on to there own computers and see for themselves. And let them make detailed logs and crash out of the game repeatedly.

Why? Because that's their job and none of us can accurately tell exactly why our game crashed. The crash report does not provide any information.

Crashes: logging to other toon, riding mount in Riften, wayshrine travel, crafting, reloading UI, throwing caltrops, fighting npc, fighting players, liquid lightning, sieging, entering door, dungeons, boss fights, looting chest, fighting molar bal, traveling through wrothgar, porting to deshan, keep change from one alliance to another, and logging in. (All 64 and 32 bit)

Not sure what error you all are having but I've been getting "display driver has failed and recovered" crashes over and over since I started this game a month ago. I discovered that some combination of turning down the settings/lowering resolution/underclocking my graphics card prolongs/temporarily fixes the crashes and I'm going crazy trying to figure out why.

This is on the 32bit and 64 bit versions. I've never had this error on any other game ever, just ESO. People have said display driver crashes are due to overheating or power etc., but it's literally only ESO. My card has never gone up above 80c playing this.
