Only alchemist could be considered a good set, the others are complete waste in every aspect. From PvE DD point of view alchemist sacrafices 2nd and 3rd set bonus for max health which is overkill, wouldn't imagine that you need it for the new trial either. I guess for PvP it could be used cleverly.

Dunno what you're talking about, the regen you get with Tava's favour will make it one of the best sets for the new 0 CP campaigns...

Eternal Hunt is good too. Stamina users lack a good sustain set. It could make a good filler 3/4-item set to be used alongside Hunding.

In PvP, the full 5-item could be useful for escaping.

the problem with the majority of sets I've seen is they cater to diversity (having bonuses to all 3 stats, mag and weap damage, etc).......but these sets FIGHT against the no cap system where you have to stack a single stat to get the DPS you need.

If you are going to promote diverse sets then you need ot restore a soft cap so I don't feel I'm severely gimping myself for having a decent mag and stam.

I'm just wondering if these new crafted set's will be available with jewelry from the new cryodill merchant who sell's monster set gear.

In Eso Live they stated you could get gear like Hunding Rage but the item's being sold apart from the monster set's are all jewelry.

My guess is all crafted set's will now have jewelry!!! Which would be great for build diversity.

This need's confirmation to see how the merchant will work.

How many different ways do you need to have max armor and stand there with a shield spamming puncture? Only so many combos of increase armor increase spell resist or dmg shield they can add

    Atm
you have more are from armor skills
More armor the lower your health
    Dmg shield when low health
    Evade when blocking
Restore almost all health when low on health
    Constitution buff being hit

How much more you need to help tank?
I'm everything that doesn't belong in the pact but i'm there anyway...

If we will be able to craft jewellery then in reality you will be able to have 2x 5 item sets + monster set... I am quite excited about Seducer; Vicious Death + Skoria, great sustain, super zergbuster and decent in duels. Willpower was super strong, but that 1400 magicka and 190 spell power can be swapped for Vicious Death kill set bonus.

As I play when my 5month son is asleep, can't use microphone so it is obvious that I run solo PvP and 1vsX is usually how my screen turns grey... Potentially not any more considering the magicka detonation tweek.

From a crafting perspective who creates custom gear ALL the time, I don't see anything special about those new sets. The bonuses on them aren't anywhere near enough to warrant the high material costs for V16 items. Who in a stamina build would swap out Hundings, NightMothers or Morkuldin for any of those sets.... No one....

If Tava's Favor allowed Stamina Regen while blocking, then it would make an "OK" tanking set but as is, wouldn't make me change out a Histbark set for it.

Alchemists set could be a good ganking set but that's the only purpose I could see someone using all 5 items for it. It's MUCH better as a 4 item bonus set but you'll still lose out on a lot by switching to it.

Eternal Hunt seems like the only decent set there but eventually they are going to add a cool down on the runes and will make it worthless. On the flip side, I still don't see a max stamina DPS changing their existing setup for this.

As a maxed crafter, I feel left out and disapointed with these new craftable sets. Sure, I will make some of them, but it will be very few and eventually not much at all unless they are changed.

From the looks of it, the only thing that crafters will benefit from on this DLC are the new styles.

Eternal Hunt will be amazing in VMSA and dueling a sorcerer roll right through there mines leave a runenin the middle.

Hunt is way of the air with roughly the same damage just in rune form, which is great for stamina Templars who still lack sustain even after this patch.

Clever alchemist is a great set, it does not specify potion strength just potion, put points I snakes blood and make poison it doesn't matter, three gold jewelry enchants for reduce potion cool down on jewelry your set. If the make ravager V16 that's a hell of a pair

Tava's Blessing is a hell of a synergy with stamina dragon Knights

This, I want to give this a try this weekend.

Sounds like a cool set for folks that spend most of their time gathering mats.

At VR16 gold, the SD/WD buff is 661. With a standard 45-second potion cooldown, then on long sustained fights, you're looking at a 33% uptime, or an overall buff of 220 SD/WD. For the entire set, this translates to 349 overall SD/WD if you always pop potions on cooldown. This is inferior to Hundings/Julianos, once you take into account the max magicka/stamina bonuses on those sets (10.5 max mag/stam = 1 SD/WD, so 299 + 967/10.5 = 391) and you're trading crit chance for health.

For shorter fights and for initial bursting, though, that bonus can be awesome. But that inferior sustained damage makes this a niche set.

Potion cooldown jewelry is pointless with this (unless you need the potion's instant effect more frequently; the over-time effects of potions already exceed the 45s cooldown if you have maxed medicinal effect at VR15) because those three jewelry slots are better put to use with SD/WD enchantments. Losing an always-active 174x3=522 set of SD/WD jewelry enchantments to get a shorter cooldown on a 15-second 661 SD/WD proc is a terrible tradeoff.

It's simple. It's a gank set. I can't wait to get my hands on this set. I'm already farming potion ingredient's to prepare for this.

Stamina nightblade sustain fight's have become trash. The nerf's to cloak and ease of interrupting cloak make it pretty hard to stay alive while outnumbered imo. So i will build to one shot gank :)

Oh look no tank set wonder why ??? Oh I know ZOS hates tanks that's why.

I feel your pain, but im going to try out a sort of "turtle build" with my tank in pvp with the clever alchemist so ill welcome the health. Its all about sustaining block and generating ultimate for the most part in your 'shell' if you will. Then when the time comes pop immovability pot to get all the weapon damage and pop corrosive Armour at the same time and be unstoppable for 15 seconds then back into the shell. Might work.
