increasing my weapon damage

my weapon damage is pitiful (I am too embarrassed to reveal what it is) and I wish to increase it. I have access to buffs and the like, and I have high quality weapons, what I need are sets that increase it. What are good set combos that increase my weapon damage?

Your weapon damage scales off your stamina pool. So more max stamina increases it.

It also depending what weapon, skills, slotted abilities, enchants, traits, buffs, effects and situations you are in. Weapon damage isn't just "Weapon damage". Are you looking to increase burst damage, as in do as high damage as possible, as fast possible? Or increase overall? Damage against 1 target or many? What targets? Bosses? Players? Mobs?

    Your damage depends on
    • Weapon damage
    • Weapon Crit
    • Weapon Enchant
    • What type of damage - Phys, poison, fire, etc
    • Weapon damage penetration effects etc

Also, your damage depends on your targets resists, buffs, effects, armor, blocking and what kind of type of target/player, since they have very different resists.

Your weapon abilities and light/heavy, your combat style if you will, is where you increase your damage the most. What sets works for one player, may be useless for another, depending on play style.

Hundings is a general good set to use for most Stamina Weapons. But what works for you, really is up to your playstyle.
In my case I don't have that much weapon damage. 2900 unbuffed. But I crit like hell, do massive AE damage, while draining stamina back at every target I hit. Always have damage shield on me and hard to kill. I rarely run out of stamina even when I spam abilities.

There are lots of sets that would up your weapon damage, but your play style and how you use your abilities, is where you find the biggest increase.

i am a highly burst/stealth oriented player. my weapon damage is only about 1.6-2K. I use bow and DW, so its mainly physical (2H if I decide I want rally.) I have 5/5 hundings and the ashen grip weapon damage boost as of now. I plan to get gold enchants, which should bump it up about 3-500, but that would still be low compared to what most people have.

    @Cody

    Try this out.

    - 5pc Hunding's Rage
    - 3pc Sentry
    - 1pc Kena/Bloodspawn
    - 3pc Agility

    OR

    - 5pc Hunding's Rage
    - 4pc Morkuldin
    - 3pc Agility

Use Shadow w/ full Divines rather then Warrior, as the sheer amount of damage you'll have makes the Shadow far better then the tiny static increase from Warrior. Don't forget use of Flawless Dawnbreaker for more weapon damage. You can hit 4.5k Weapon Damage with this gearing, provided appropriate enchants and tempering are used.

This one does not advocate for any class to be nerfed. There are far deeper underlying issues then a simple "Class Imbalance". The Champion System is the problem. Not classes.

Agility jewellery with weapon damage enchants.
Weapon damage enchant on one weapon (5s 189 wpn dmg)
    M. Kena 1 or 2pc.
    Hundings x5

Make sure weapons are gold (biggest impact).
    Stamina enchants on everything.

That's the general way most get towards 4k.
