This was clearly stated during the last ESO Live when asked about the addition of new skills lines with either the Thieves Guild or the Dark Brotherhood.
Let's be honest, ZOS cannot even handle the existing 4 classes and keep the skills relatively useful and balanced, so what makes you think a 5th class will somehow improve things. Besdes, I'd much rather have a 4th skill tree for each existing class, or a neutral Necromancy skill tree where you make a deal with a Daedric Prince for special powers like a Vampire or Werewolf.
Band Camp statements: To state "But this one time I saw X doing X... so that justifies X" Refers to the Band camp statement.

Well, it would be a much better thing if all the morphs were released at once, to give people the sense of choice that was the basic premise for my idea.@ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_RichLambert , can someone tell us if ZOS is actually actively and currently considering adding a new class to ESO? If you guys are, I implore you to please consider the Class Morph concept posted by @TheShadowScout here: http://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/240186/class-morph-idea/p1
We don't even need all the class morphs at once. They could be released in sets of four, one morph for each class.
Warden plz
That was not my intention. This sounds like a nasty weak class. Trying to make the magicka DKs and stam templars feel better now are you?
I they added yet another skill line for Necromancy, then that skill line would push even more current class skills into the depths of "forgotten pits of unusable skills".UrQuan wrote:I'm of the opinion that new skill lines (like necromancy, beast taming, etc) would be better for the game than new classes.
I have read it, it was the whole reason I made this post.Read the article... it has as much merit as a forum post of ours... this is nothing more than ZOS engaging the community. This is in no way an indication they are working on a new class.
I much prefer that they add additional skill lines for the existing classes in the form of specializations. But I guess that would be much more difficult to monetize and an entirely new class. Sad to see the b2p model limit options for the betterment of this game. Sigh.
