videos being posted by certain ppl from EP/DC with no lag

is it me or am I being skeptic by when these ppl posting videos during peak hours that they don't lag, just have fps drop??? heck watched pretty good share of there videos and out of all of them only once did I see them shoot above 250, other than that they roll with 110-130, 95% of the time. that right there during prime time has me puzzled on how that is happening..... cuz for me, in a grp of 4, being anywhere in azura or on haderus, my ping still spikes to above 500-700 or higher depending on which grp I come close to.

perfect example, tonight before prime time. I was at a solid 225, when I run a normal 130, and I'm sitting in base on azura, so someone tell me on how all these videos being posted of EP/DC on how they are not lagging but only suffer the FPS drop.....

just asking for suggestions, not here to cause issues or name calling or all that jibber jabber BS. just here trying to figure it out, cuz I'm extremely stumped on how they have very low ping 95% of the time and all there skills work in large battles when most of us suffer from the lag and have a skill delay of 3-5 seconds.

Stuff in videos is the good footage you get when it's not laggy and you are able to outplay your enemies through skill. Lag kinda prevents a skillfull play, which is why you don't see much lag usually in videos (except if it's guild group videos and stuff, point still valid there though not as much as in solo/small scale).

I agree, but lets just say the videos that are being recorded are during the lagfest prime time, with a group of 4-6 ppl. so your small grp goes up against a grp taking a keep and there grp is 15 ppl. its already lagging in cyro, but yet the grp your with has no problem wiping a skilled 15 man grp soley cuz your ping is not affected by the prime time lag. (I'm not sure how to say it much better)

still doesn't take in affect on how your grp is not affected but everyone else is. that's what I'm getting at

A couple of reasons maybe.
People who record or stream tend to be people who have really good connections/computers, which helps. They also tend to be smaller group or solo players, so they may not be around the larger battles where a lot of the problems with fps and lag occur. Other possibilities: they cherrypick through their recordings for good fights with low lag, they're not playing on one of the populated servers in the recording, or they are but it's not during primetime.

Yesterday was atrocious for instant disconnects and lag for myself and others. Even the infamous getting booted for spamming chat when I had said nothing. Easily 10 times I got disconnected before I threw in the towel.

I always keep a bottle of Lag Be Gone handy, I just spray a small amount on my monitor while editing and shazam! All of my footage becomes smooth as butter.

Good internet connection doesn't guarantee you no lag.

Most videos are like 2-12 minutes long. They typically contains short clips from hours worth of playing. In other words, they cut out the moments where they were rolled ecause their game was lagging.

yolokin is correct, good connection don't mean sh**. I have an 80mb connection with 10ms and an i7 5820k x99, gtx970, 16gb ram. so I highly doubt its my pc. hell tonight I was reaching upwards of 3k ping. all I know is that this is getting extremely pathetic. yes I do understand that they could go to other servers to do there recording or do it during non prime time, but some of the videos ive seen clearly shows them going into battle with full 20-24 groups and wiping them and you can tell that there is lag solely from the way the other players reactions are but yet the people who do the recordings are not effected. that's what I'm trying to get at.

It's not only in az, it's in all servers during prime time. It's like once the lag happens in az it affects all pvp maps and pve content

No, it's definitely Azura's. I experience 300 ping there during prime time and zero lag on other campaigns at all times and population levels. If you're experiencing lag outside of Azura's prime time, then get a new computer.
