Camo Hunter - Fix it already!

Sadly, zeni supports animation cancelling (or they have no idea, how to fix it. Since, there is no cool down in each skill like tera online has...)

Yeah, it's great when your opponent animation cancels and gets 3 x 8k camu hunter procs within one second (and the normal damage that his skills do).

But zos allready stated that they are going to fix this, so be patient @Cinnamon_Spider

How are they going to fix camo hunter again so that it suits you? Do you want the skill to be removed or to reduce the damage to the point its not worth having on anyone's bar? Granted I use camo hunter and animation cancel and I one shot people multiple times a day but I have also been one shotted a number of times since I am a vamp on most of my toons. I don't mind camo hunter and laugh when I get one shotted I even whisper a few of them telling them nice kill. I don't think camo hunter is bugged I think it hits like a truck when combined with a number of other attacks and buffs.

Fix it so it suits me? All they need to do is not make it proc multiple times on one hit. The damage reduction from battle spirit was supposed to address this kind of cheese, but it doesn't.

With blue food, I have 30k health on my Templar. I also have CP to reduce critical damage along with wearing impen gear, but none of that matters when you're hit by someone using this skill from stealth.

ofc all can do it, but AC is by far more effective when done with a Stamina build, since la doesx3 as mutch dmg as magicka builds do. but that was not was i mean.
you can do 3 attacks at once from stealth, this will poc 3 times the camo hunter, thats the whole Problem about it.

Basically, while wearing this set, if you don't take damage for 10 seconds you receive a PERMANENT 12040 damage shield (until you get attacked of course). We're talking about an anti-gank set here. That's awesome.

Totally. This set would be pretty crappy in Cyrodiil, but highly useful in somewhere like IC where you're bound to get ganked. Would have preferred to see it as a craftable set with a better 4pc, but I'd probably still wear it, especially if I'm carrying around a large amount of stones or watching duels (this is where I usually get ganked).

I don't care about a few light/heavy attacks of shield breaker. I can heal through those. It's the burst damage from stealth that is a problem, and this set would definitely help combat that.

To be clear i honestly didn't understand how bad this skill is atm and people are exploiting it since it's broken now since i first hand experienced it this needs a fix

its a 7500 shild with Bastion 100. i dont think this will safe you.

Ahhh of course, the cyro reduction. Keep forgetting about that one. Being a stam build my bastion isn't pimped out like a sorcs would be, so I guess the shield would be next to useless

Once again I am calling ***. 30k health with crit reduc. Why you always lying. And to be clear camo hunter only works well when a player properly animation cancels to get at least 3 procs on you. And if you boast that much hp you should still be able to survive for awhile to heal back up on a templar. Please please please don't lie.

I won't flat out call them a liar, because I know Cinnamon has been around the ESO community for a while, but I'd be interested in seeing a 1 hit kill with 30k health instead of just hearing about it.

Camo Hunter doesnt Crit 100% from stealth, so it is not reduced by crit reducing, its a magick dmg, so better spend in this.
Camo Hunter has a high base DMG from 6-8k, 10-12k crit for Vamps.
yet the Problem is that you are able to do 3 attacks out of stealth wich proc camo hunter.

its atleast x3 6k dmg in less than a seccond + stun cause of stealth

i got killed from green Exile in 0,46 sec with 3 attacks and 3 camo hunter, i got arround 30k health

L2P camo hunter is not bugged. The random bonus doesn't double proc either. Look at your death recap and you'll see 2 different skills being used + heavy attack + the luck they had for both skills to proc their bonus on undead.

Stam NB's with focused aim + WB and stam DK's with WB + take flight can get similar if not higher DPS with the right combo.

Them abilities take time to cast. What the OP is complaining about is high burst damage (usually from stealth) with no time to react at all.

They have already stated Camo Hunter is not bugged your death recap is bugged. You cannot get 3 proc's from Camo Hunter and it has nothing to do with animation canceling, you can only get 2 and they are different, one is Camo Hunter's specific proc for attacking while stealthed, the other is the 15% chance to do damage when attacking undead. Both can crit and both are magic damage but that is still not what is exclusively killing you. A Bow build DK with high weapon dmg and using Molten weapons can one shot non vamps who have low health and low resistances, and will hit for 18k or so even against high resistance targets at times. If they use Camo Hunter+Silver Shards against undead they will get a guarranteed 6-8k magic damage with a 15% chance for another 5-6k and a 30% chance for another 5-6k.

Maxing your crit is not going to greatly help you, however the biggest help is running Radiant Magelight that is the #1 defense bonus you can add, increasing health is next, followed by running at least 5 of one armor type and putting points into that armor specific star to reduce physical dmg and the star that reduces magical damage. I repeat though that the #1 defense that makes the biggest difference is running Radient Magelight, most gankers have learned not to try and jump people who are running it, at least not if their build depends on opening burst.

Consider this, the DK running a combo like this has to design their entire setup to maximize weapon damage and burst including slotting at least 3 skills. You can counter the build with slotting 1 skill, just 1, there is nothing imbalanced about that, you simply just don't want to change your build to counter gankers. You want to be invincible to ganker's while running the current build you have. What makes it even more crazy is that if you pvp with friends which no doubt you probably do, you don't even need to slot it, just someone who is near you needs to slot it.

One shot builds rarely if ever one shot good players, they "one shot" noobs or players who are being careless.
