Campaign option without the 50% damage and healing reduction?

Would anybody like to see this option available? I don't mean apply it to all campaigns, but just give us the option of going back to how it was before the IC update.

    But seriously, that sort of thing will not be possible to implement. ZOS has stated it is not possible with the current structure of the code to alter mechanical changes on a "Per-campaign" basis. Which means that your idea will never come to pass. In addition, the previous pre-IC battle spirit was a 20% reduction, not a 0% reduction.

    Damage is generally HIGHER in Cyrodiil even with Battle Spirit than pre-IC due to people having more CP and achieving super-high stats with v16 gear.

    Oh and I'm sure 1.5 had damage reduction in Cyrodiil, just not as high as 50%.

    Personally I wouldn't mind the damage\heals\shields being changed from 50% to about 30-40% for all campaigns. Would it make instakills easier and more common? Yes, but I will proudly eat 14k surprise attacks so that baddies can be punished for brain dead play by something other than a ball\bomb group.

    And on the note of damage being as high this patch as pre ic, am I the only one who remembers +20k wreaking blows from stealth and +20k frags? Yes you can hit pretty hard with kena w\shadow mundus, but I have only seen one non emp eclipse the 15k mark with wb and now everyone is running around with a ton of cps in hardy so I can't see frags getting to show up nearly that high on a recap.

    Lol the damage is not higher than pre-IC no, pre IC my deto fully buffed could deal 20k crit on a light armour guy (I had less than 300cp) now my average is around 14k, with more cp and 5 targets hit.
    Also 1.5 didnt have dmg reduction, but there were softcap and actually ressource managment mattered. 90% of people were using seducer+warlock, a combo that would give way too much regen and no damage at all nowadays.

    Isn't it funny that the damage output of the general pvp pop has increased to higher numbers since the "squish."

    This campaign would consist only of player hiding in stealth. The first person to break stealth gets gap-closed by 6 players and dies. Everyone then returns to stealth. Repeat.
