Elder_III✭✭✭✭I had load times between ~5-15 seconds today, with most of them under 10 seconds. This is how it used to be prior to the IC DLC. While it had improved from the 10 min or more loading screens right after that patch, I still had 1-2 minute load screens (sometimes longer) for the past month+.Semi retired from the trading aspects of the game.0 -

✭✭✭✭✭I didnt get note about block. CAn anyone tell me what it means?
Block cost was supposed to scale with char level - at v16 it was supposed to cost a great deal more. However, for some reason it didn't work and block cost was lower than intended. Then they introduced the no-regen-while-blocking thing. More recently they finally fixed the cost thing, but now with lower regen some tanks were struggling to keep their stamina in check. So they reverted the cost at V16 to the previous values.3 -

✭✭Since I posted several complaints about loading screens, it's only fair that I chime in here and say THANKS to ZOS. Loading screens are down from close to 2 minutes to 20 seconds or less. ✭I didn't see how long the maintenance period was but the patch I downloaded this morning was small & very fast... it only took about 5-10mins (I wasn't watching it).
I was so keen I went home from work at lunchtime & tried it out! My load times on my low level char were 20-25seconds.. a HUGE improvement over the previous night where they were several minutes long.
Hats off to the Zenimax guys! They came through with the goods!NA Server [PC] -- Mostly Ebonheart Pact, Mostly.2 -

At any rate, the loading screens seem much better in other parts of Wrothgar and Tamriel ...0 -

The new loadings screens are lasting only 5-7 seconds... How on earth will I be able to take a bio break or get myself some fresh drinks now? This is not acceptable!

PlagueMonk✭✭✭✭✭While I am grateful that the load times have been dramatically improved..........any chance of rewarding those of us who have been suffering under YOUR bug with say an increased EXP weekend or something? (maybe even the upcoming Thanksgiving 4 day holiday?)

Flameheart✭✭✭✭✭So the ridiculous load screen times were related to how many quests you'd completed? That explains why I haven't really had an issue with them.

Yep...and maybe achievements play a role too.
Result: Grinders and Powerlevelers are rewarded twice :-)

No, it did not. It got WORSE then, but long loading screens have been around for much longer, can't say exactly since when. In Cyrodiil, for instance, the first time I tried to port between keeps always used to take around 5 minutes. This was fixed (for me) by not doing PvP.0 -

No, this bug started exactly on that date, the issue you are talking about is a completely different one that has only effected a select few people. Whether that is at ZOS' end, the players end or somewhere in between has yet to be discovered. It's completely unrelated.0 -

✭I loaded directly into Undaunted enclave. Not only LS was faster, but also I didn't see black shadows isntead of players everywhere and environment taking shape for more than a minute as usual.
