✭Consoles are usually bought for and played on by children and young adults (and I use that last term loosely). Therefor the chat you see/hear is going to reflect that overwhelming lack of maturity of the players.
As someone else posted earlier, look in the guild recruitment section of these forums and search for a guild advertising as a Mature/Adult guild. I think you'll have better luck that way.

Maturity is not necessarily measured by age, but one can refer to even an adult as a kid for their behavior. After all, it is maturity that makes you an adult and not your age. I myself choose to play this game on console as a preference instead of just because my PC couldn't handle it and I am about to hit 30. Also, unfortunately, "kicking their butts" in a game will not change them. These kids intentionally act so in a game because they have issues in real life that require them vent, and others are just plain stupid. purple-magicb16_ESO✭✭✭✭✭That really sucks. I've been told that console has more kids whereas pc is mostly older gamers. But it doesn't help to tell you to go to pc when you just bought an Xbox. Some are immature but still some are just plain jerks that want an exlusive boys club cause they were denied a date to the prom or something so if u use vc on pc you're still likely to get the same at some point, just maybe a little less of it. Solution to your problem isn't easy but I do hope you will find a guild that is more mature and accepting. They are out there. I can offer you a few that I know are good if your interested.

Voice chat does have Area Chat, Group Chat (if in a group), and a Guild Chat Channel plus additional channels for every 20 members the guild has, not to mention the Guild Officer Chat Channel. I myself keep Area Chat off almost all the time, but not just for the reasons OP is concerned over but also some potential stability issues with game performance, such as crashes and the like.
