I love social games, and love running around in a good team, but had to leave 2-4 clans yesterday, because guys were screaming in clan chat, when they realized Im not a male gamer.
This is strange.
I have been playing in many clans in other games, and most of my friends are male, so what is going on here?
I only found 1 good clan with mature people, but we are in different time zone, others are don't speak or acting like kids.
Game is good.
I would stay and play....but social part..hmmmm
I help run a really great guild, we all get on well and it's also based around free crafting so if you ever need anything crafted come join us if you're on EU!
Consoles are usually bought for and played on by children and young adults (and I use that last term loosely). Therefor the chat you see/hear is going to reflect that overwhelming lack of maturity of the players.
As someone else posted earlier, look in the guild recruitment section of these forums and search for a guild advertising as a Mature/Adult guild. I think you'll have better luck that way.
Good luck, and good gaming!
PS... Keep kicking the boys butts. They need it. Badly.

Thank you.Yes, Im on EU, Pls send me an invite.
I got armor yesterday from friends, I only go for the social fun now.
Pretty much all the guilds I'm in have mostly mature people, except for the "that's what she said" types that display their idiocy now and then.

I am guessing the OP was hearing stuff like this: http://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/199236/best-worst-funniest-weirdest-thing-heard-on-console-from-area-voice-chat
So can you block/turn off area chat? If so, it would seem joining a social guild or two and keeping the area chat off might help the OP get passed some of the disappointment with the less than desirable exchanges.UltimaJoe777 wrote: »
Voice chat does have Area Chat, Group Chat (if in a group), and a Guild Chat Channel plus additional channels for every 20 members the guild has, not to mention the Guild Officer Chat Channel. If that doesn't quite work you also have the console's network party chat feature.

Pc sounds great with the chat box, would be fantastic this option on xb1!
if the only reason you play on console is cuz of controller...you can use it with eso now on pcps4 can use it using ds4 ( a program) and x1 can user it via plug and play
leave the out dated consoles behind ^_^

It would be nice for just one day to have a look through the forums without seeing yet another baseless dig at console users, just once.
I agree. I don't understand the whole console war thing.
We ALL love ESO, we wouldn't be here if we didn't! I don't get why we can't just all talk about what we're here for instead of insulting a whole community of people for no reason.
The sad thing is a lot of people don't even realise that they're doing anything wrong.
Do you people like it when people from different religions come to your door and start preaching? Because I sure don't. And I'm sick of both PC AND Ps4 users doing the exact same thing. Anyone who plays on Xbox One, or any platform for that matter.. does so BECAUSE THEY LOVE THAT PLATFORM. What use is there of telling them to join another platform when they're happy as they are.
(Though I do wish they would add text chat, Smartglass is a great way to do that!)
DO NOT include Mac in this. they are worse than console casuals. Mac/apple is the filth of the earth.
