Hi guys!

I'm after some advice, I'm a stamina based DK, I've been making my own sets (blacksmithing) of armour using 5pc (1 dagger) of Ashen Grip and 4pc Nights silence (1 dagger) so 4 ashen 3 nights armour. Now that I'm level 43 and have maxed out the heavy skill line I've started thinking about "end game" and that I really should be using medium armour. Can you guys think of any sets that would be better for me (bonuses)

Also each day I've been taking a few of the provisioning recipes out of the bank (just the ones I need) is it okay to just take all the ones I need in one go or is it preferred just to take a few each day?

@Sanb0 For a DPS stamina dagger user I'd go medium 5 Hunding's Rage (crit, stamina, crit, weap damage) and 4 night Mother's (crit, weap damage, crit). If you feel squishy, you can add a heavy chest or legs, adjust your glyphs, attributes and active bar skills (DK has plenty of damage mitigation) until you reach your happy place.

@Sanb0 Only take the recipes you actually need i.e. ones that you will be crafting for your personal use. So don't take ones above your level and don't take ones you won't be using (I'm guessing magicka boosting based on your build). Also make sure you don't take ones with duplicate effects because there might be two different recipes but they both grant the same health and stamina increase for example.
Because there are so many recipes in the game they're in the bank for personal use rather than to help people get every single recipe in the game.

If you follow these rules you can take all the ones you need in one go. When you level up come back for the higher level ones you need.

Thanks Craven, as I'd only need 5 pc of medium to use the passives I could have 5 medium and 2 heavy just to help with the damage mitigation. I'm aiming for this build http://deltiasgaming.com/2015/03/08/the-bloody-butcher-dragonknight-dps-build-for-update-six but all the gear is for once maxed.

I'll probably make a request for gear soon when I level a little more I've only just recently made myself some gear so no point at the moment

Oh don't worry, I'll find a way to have a creepy party! Even if it's a Nightmare Before Christmas style christmas party

Okay, n00b question. This certainly shouldn't be coming from a Guild Admin, I know!

But what's the deal with research times? All my research times are one day? Is it the more you research the longer it takes, or is it something to do with the rarity?

Nah research times steadily increase the more traits you have researched for that item.
It's something like 1st trait 4hrs, 2nd 8hrs, 3rd 1 day, 4th 2 days and so on.

By the way I hope you're researching whatever you like now as I'm all over medium traits seeing as my lights are all done.

I have mostly been doing Medium but I'll focus more on light now! I've been slacking the past few days!

And as if research times aren't annoy as is , they had to go make it even more annoying! :P

The research times double for each trait on a particular item: 6hrs, 12hrs, 1d, 2d, 4d, 8d, 16d, 32d, 64d. But then you get reductions based on how many skill points you've got in the researching skill for that craft (the one that also gives you more research slots), 5%, 10%, 20%, cap at 30d, I think you also get an additional 10% reduction if you have eso plus (I don't have it so cant confirm that)

Yeah I always thought it was backwards. As surely the more you research something, the more skilled you become so research should take less time. The first traits should take longest and then less with each trait IMO.

Also the bank will be cleared out of all TRAITLESS items on Saturday to free up space. So grab them while you can.
Oh and there's a few siege weapons in there. Can somebody that plays PvP take them.

I know I don't have heavy chest exploration, I'll have to check on the others later (though it'd probably be the morning before I'm next on - unless I have a quick sneak on tonight)

I agree it is a bit backwards though it makes sense from a game point of view I suppose, my particular favourite is when you've learnt a trait on dagger, sword or greatsword, what do you mean I have to learn it on the others? They're just different sizes of the same thing!

I sent you chest helmet shoulders and Bow with Sharpened, won't send any others unless you want them all..? I would suggest doing these first..

@Mraspdal just sent you most of what you were after, the only 1 I couldn't do was bow defending as I've still got 3 weeks left on my research for that one

Ps. My mail was acting weird in that my hireling mails weren't showing items at first, I've still got 1 left that wouldn't sort itself out so don't delete my mail if it looks like it doesn't have any attachments because it does!

@itsclurrrrr I think the server might be glitchy. I was having problems banking, sending mail and got booted a few times in the last couple of hours.

Bow - Sharpened
Chest - Impenetrable
Helm - Impenetrable
Shoulders - Impenetrable

Now all my research slots is taken on Woodworking and Heavy ^^,
