I have about 500 cotton I can provide for crafting, If someone wants to make som VR clothing so it goes faster up i can provide gold

Are you going for the achievement or incorporating it into your build? If just the achievements, then it doesn't matter. If it's for your build...you may want to pick one that will compliment your character-vampire works well with magic (especially, sneaky magic) users; werewolf with stamina builds as long as it's your ultimate. The quest will no longer downscale (the werewolf one use to); is your character at a level that can complete the quest?

How far through the story and what level are you? Depending on where you're at, I can show you how to level it without using your cotton.

@CravenWaffles if you're gonna suggest Aspdal does the loot and deconstruct runs in Coldharbour then they're too low level for that.

If it's something else, then do share. Always nice to know new tricks.

Yeah, my first character and crafter is on EP..there is a quest in Rift where once you complete it, you can loot like Cold Harbor, Stormhold has several outside shops to steal from, but the Rift place is probably the best as you get ingredients and recipes as well.

I'm only level 10 atm new character after abandoning NA servers to join the guild, and I'm a Templar so my best guess is a vampire would work best for me, and from what I hear isn't level 20 the minimum to conplete the quest? If so isn't it possible to get the bite now and do the quest later?

@CammyTheJigsaw Nah when you get the bite you have to complete the quest before the disease wears off. Otherwise you loose it.

@Mraspdal I've literaly just gone into IC for the first time. If you've got the DLC as soon as you enter your homebase there's loads of vet level stuff to loot that you can deconstruct. Same rules apply as in all Cyrodill so it doesn't count as stealing.

IC is hardore solo. Getting so spanked!

@TheHereticMonk That's fair enough I'll wait awhile aha, and also where is this Vet gear in IC I've had the DLC since release (ESO Plus) but everything is levelled to me, is it just a case of you need to be high level to get the Vet gear from home base?

@CammyTheJigsaw Oh right the gear in IC must be leveled then. Didn't think that'd be the case. All the vendors gear on display is v14 for me. If you're AD then I'll defo do IC with you. Need to get some Ancestor silk so I can start using V15 gear as I'm a bit squishy at the moment. Been doing Craglorn solo and while it's possible, it's stretching my skills to the max.

@TheHereticMonk Yeah, it scales like in Cold Harbor..I've had drops above my level when doing higher quests and from enemies in high level areas..other random times I'm sure, but don't recall. I'd skip on the VR15 gear, they may be cheaper to make, but you'll eventually make VR16 stuff anyway, just save and do each piece as you can. The daily dungeon chest rewards are leveled to you, so, you can get VR15/16 items to deconstruct there (and a chance at monster shoulders), as are items that drop in VR15/16 dungeons. If you're DPS, you may even want to save your mats until the Orsinium DLC as they have a craftable Magic DPS set 'Law of Julianos' (spell crit, max magicka, spell crit, spell damage) 6 traits required. If you feel squishy in the meantime, I'd try replacing your extra sets (not the 5 piece one) with something for survival, add a piece or two of heavy, swap out glyphs, and/or run more shields (healing ward, hardened ward). IC makes almost everyone feel squishy especially with the nerf to healing in PvP.
@CammyTheJigsaw If you deconstruct everything that drops for you, you should be at or near the max before hitting Vet levels unless you're "power-leveling" (except enchanting...that took a while). I have an EP werewolf, but unless going for the achievement or using the ultimate in your build (stamina), go for KayPow's vampire when you're at 20ish (set gear and food helps).

I'm doing a bit of planning ahead here, does anyone know what a reasonable price for buying the 2 nirncrux's is? does anyone know a good place to look for it at that price (I've only just started checking traders and haven't seen any on sale at any price when I've looked) and finally if I can lay my hands on some nirncrux can someone craft me nirnhoned woodworking items for research? I've got 3 woodworking items with 8 traits and the last 3 8th traits start completing in about 3 weeks so I'd rather throw a bit of gold at nirncrux than leave a research slot idle. Its still a way off yet and I'm currently saving up for the 140 spot bag upgrade - final 10k to go :-) before I start thinking of parting with gold

I usually check Mournhold (if you've made it to silver or have an EP alt) and Rawl'kha. Craglorn and Elden Root have traders lined up as well, but most of the time I've checked their prices were higher than Mourn and Rawl..TamReal Traders in Rawl tends to have some of the lowest prices on crux that I've bought..also some guild with a C...I think it was Condemned or something. Currently, I consider 8-10k for Fortified (armor) Crux a good price I'd buy at (around 15k is about average...never spend 20k on armor crux unless really in a bind) and 13-17k is a good price for Potent (weapon) Crux (average price is around 20k). If you get lucky gathering in Upper Craglorn, it's free.
KayPow has the Halloween raffle prizes I sent (Nirnhoned restoration staff, 4 xp potions, several increased inspiration gain items), so when a raffle/party is scheduled you may get lucky there. I'll have shield, bow, restoration staff ready to research in a few days if you have the crux (shield=fortified, staves=potent). The 3 destruction staves will be ready in about 30 days.

@TheHereticMonk ah I'm EbonHeart I have a character in each alliance but EbonHeart is the highest level one I have aha, I'm a Templar and I can take down two of the V16 Dremora in a battle close to death though one slip up it fails but one easily lol and that's at level 10, whereas my level 20 NB on the NA server struggled with one.
@CravenWaffles do you have any spare Veteran gear? as weird as it sounds so I can deconstruct it and power level I can only assume that deconstructing veteran levelled stuff will give a lot of XP, I would be appreciative and owe you one

I like the sound of this guild! Some of the prices in game are ridiculous. Can we request recipes? I'm trying to lvl my provisioning skill but I'm missing some of the recipes for the writs. Anyone got grape preserves, nut brown ale and roast corn? I've got a library worth of recipes and I'll gladly swap with someone if they're missing one I've got.

Im happy to craft anything if you have the mats. Lvl 30 ish in all crafting skills but more researched traits on woodwork and I can use beech, cleansed water, orichalcum ingots, cotton and leather.

@CravenWaffles was thinking you'd donated nothing to the bank but I forgot you provided those prizes. I will promote you now. All good advice re my build. Still gonna go for V15 equipment as I figure once Orsinium drops I'll find plenty of ancestor silk from the scaling harvest nodes.

I'm sacking off Craglorn. Just came across 2 quests that are physically impossible to do without a group. So if anyone in AD wants to group up in Craglorn gimmie a shout.

@CammyTheJigsaw I'll put some decon stuff in the guild bank if we're on at the same time and I can just trade them to you, unless you want them COD'd--started getting to be thousands of gold to send to a friend who wanted the same thing a while back. He said it was about the same xp as when he deconstructed items near his level..maybe a slight difference..if it's different now and you see huge gains, let me know..otherwise, you can get items your level by stealing or from drops. The big gains you'll see if you deconstruct items that have the 'increased inspiration gains' and >/= green quality items..unfortunately, as the current Orsinium plans will have nodes/enemies that give ore/scraps equal to your crafting abilities, I'm deconstructing most of my drops to level crafts on my alts as I like to switch up between them when I get bored of one playstyle...doesn't help with my crafter on EP and I play on AD...forces me to max their crafts...almost there with my VR16s at least (would love to be able to gather ancient silk, rubedo, and rubedite without having to go to IC for it..got boring and needed more people to make it worthwhile for the time investment vs just running VR16 dungeons).

Might put a list up of all the recipes we have in the bank when I can be bothered. As there's loads, mostly greens though.

Yeah, some of them need 4 people to push switches/buttons which is ridiculous...I got through most of the stories with just one other guy..his heavy DPS'r and my healer..we'd have to call in guildies or friends to come push a button for us when we got to those parts. I don't mind running them again (if we have 4 and a healer, I can jump on my tank as she hasn't been through that many). It's definitely tough...depending how quickly you can melt enemies, I can keep you alive..otherwise, a 3rd would be nice..4th to get through those switches (want to say there were 2 quests like that). Oh and the Skywatch?? tower would be good with four as the final boss can be pretty intense..he will zero in on one person and run them down until they die...you can imagine how comical a templar is running circles spamming BoL is 'omg omg omg omg'.

Also there's a secret project going on in the guild, it's pretty exciting and cool. I'll let Monk tell you all when he's ready but I do love to give a good teaser.
