    Maybe it's liverwurst.

One of my early jobs before university was working in a packing plant on the kill floor.

For a few months I rinsed out cow stomaches (tripe).

Apparently it is commonly eaten by people with stomach disorders. I saw enough worms and the like inside the stomachs that I was never tempted to try it out. LOL

Now you can get your daily intake of meat and fish all in one, Lol. Maybe the question should be who puts Guts in any food?

You might be surprised at what you have eaten if you eat weiners. LOL

Tripe is excellent if prepared correctly. That and suffrite, which also has tripe and other organ meat as ingredients, is also excellent. One ingredient that is not used anymore in suffrite is lungs. Disease could be introduced with that. Both of these dishes are common in proper Italian restaurants. Pellegrinos in Little Italy in NYC is the place to go and try it!

    Oh wow, Perfect Roe.
Quest reward again? And you seem to be getting these pretty quickly.

Interresting thing for this recipe is, that it seems that they have made new recipes, which would require not only provisioning materials, but also alchemy ingridients (white cap) to cook that food :)!! I like that!!

Those are great! The reason drinks are so unpopular in PvE is that you pretty much have to have food to acquire enough health to not get one shot constantly. And acquiring that health from anything other than food will gimp your DPS/HPS to the point where it is not worth the opportunity cost. These new recipes will give you the ability to not get one shot in dungeons. With that out of the way, you can then decide if you want more max magicka/stamina from traditional recipes or more magicka/stamina recovery from these new recipes. It is a real choice now instead of being forced into food because a certain minimum amount of health is absolutely required in dungeons.

Yeah but people will use them. Then we'll have to tell them not to xD

well who is going to use those? its like the tri-stat enchantments useless to 95+% of the playerbase...

if you want to minmax your pve DPS you are going to use food increasing your dmg stat and on some jobs like healers you are eventually going to use manareg food.
if you are going to pvp you are either using tristat-food or twostat-drinks increasing your mana and stamina reg.
nothing of this is handeled by those new shiny foods...

in their current implementation those foods are rather useless, they need to be 2+1 or 1+2 foods/drinks to be worthwhile in any aspect outside of broken hybrid builds and the small amount of tanks.

And this is why Zenimax runs the DLCs through PTS. It's like i said on someone else's thread: Things are far worse on PTS than the actual servers upon release because they actually put it on PTS to find bugs like this lol

Umm what bug? This is ZOS' answer to the request for food and drink to stack. Put both in one.

Yeah... exactly. Am I the only other one that can read between the lines here?

Sure, these new food options are interesting, but it's basically the death knell for ZOS ever actually letting normal foods and drinks stack.

The Provisioning Revamp from a few updates ago was supposed to finally allow food and drink to stack, as that was one of the main things people were asking for. They decided at the last minute to toss out that idea, and leave them unstackable, which really sucked. Some of us kept hoping that they'd eventually reverse that stupid decision, and finally allow them to stack.

Obviously, that's never going to happen now, since they are instead making DLC-specific foods that do that. Welcome to the curse of F2P games. Instead of just giving players what they want, they stick it behind a paywall. Lovely.

Show me a max magicka, max health, and magicka recovery recipe and we can talk. Otherwise no reason to switch from v15 blue max health/max magicka for my deeps.

This is not about making all former food and drinks obsolete. It is about giving more versatility to players.
    And they gladly accept it.

The only problem I see with the Yellow Recipes is they require Perfect Roe. Unless you want to fish for hours to just find one or ZOS increases the drop rate it is a waste of time. In addition the Blue recipes only buff one abiltiy and then give you a drink buff. I would rather have one that buffs two abilities i.e Health and Stamina and then adds a drink buff. ZOS was going to at one point allow the stacking of Food and Drink recipes and then changed their minds. For me to have a recipe that buffs Health then give me a stam recovery with it is useless when I can use an old recipie that buffs both Health and Stamina or Magicka and wear jewelery that buffs my recovery.

It is possible that they will introduce purple recipes with 2+1 bonuses.
I don't think those bonuses will overlap though. They will probably be max Health + max Stam + Mag regen.
You can forget about max Stam + Stam regen or max Mag + Mag regen. That would just ruin the balance of an unbalanced game even more.

Well, eventually, if your gear makes it possible, the extra health you get here, you can just trade in for more magicka or stamina by focusing in that more. You could easily have over 20k health now without focusing on it. That might be pretty useful to stack more mag or stam depending what resource you use.

Is there a food that increases all 3 stats plus one recovery? Would be killer to have + tri stat with mag recovery, but that sounds OP so I'm not getting my hopes up.

I think it depends on the quality. common and uncommen have 1 stat. Rare 2 stats. Epic 3 stats and Legendary 4 stats. In tha last case there are just no option but one for now.
