And lots of humans eat hot dogs, burgers made from pink slime and - deliberately - organ meats.
Maybe it's liverwurst.

One of my early jobs before university was working in a packing plant on the kill floor.
For a few months I rinsed out cow stomaches (tripe).
Apparently it is commonly eaten by people with stomach disorders. I saw enough worms and the like inside the stomachs that I was never tempted to try it out. LOL

Oh wow, Perfect Roe.
Quest reward again? And you seem to be getting these pretty quickly.
Dagoth_Rac wrote: »Those are great! The reason drinks are so unpopular in PvE is that you pretty much have to have food to acquire enough health to not get one shot constantly. And acquiring that health from anything other than food will gimp your DPS/HPS to the point where it is not worth the opportunity cost. These new recipes will give you the ability to not get one shot in dungeons. With that out of the way, you can then decide if you want more max magicka/stamina from traditional recipes or more magicka/stamina recovery from these new recipes. It is a real choice now instead of being forced into food because a certain minimum amount of health is absolutely required in dungeons.

well who is going to use those? its like the tri-stat enchantments useless to 95+% of the playerbase...
if you want to minmax your pve DPS you are going to use food increasing your dmg stat and on some jobs like healers you are eventually going to use manareg food.
if you are going to pvp you are either using tristat-food or twostat-drinks increasing your mana and stamina reg.
nothing of this is handeled by those new shiny foods...
in their current implementation those foods are rather useless, they need to be 2+1 or 1+2 foods/drinks to be worthwhile in any aspect outside of broken hybrid builds and the small amount of tanks.

Umm what bug? This is ZOS' answer to the request for food and drink to stack. Put both in one.

It is possible that they will introduce purple recipes with 2+1 bonuses.
I don't think those bonuses will overlap though. They will probably be max Health + max Stam + Mag regen.
You can forget about max Stam + Stam regen or max Mag + Mag regen. That would just ruin the balance of an unbalanced game even more.

Yeah... exactly. Am I the only other one that can read between the lines here?
Sure, these new food options are interesting, but it's basically the death knell for ZOS ever actually letting normal foods and drinks stack.
The Provisioning Revamp from a few updates ago was supposed to finally allow food and drink to stack, as that was one of the main things people were asking for. They decided at the last minute to toss out that idea, and leave them unstackable, which really sucked. Some of us kept hoping that they'd eventually reverse that stupid decision, and finally allow them to stack.
Obviously, that's never going to happen now, since they are instead making DLC-specific foods that do that. Welcome to the curse of F2P games. Instead of just giving players what they want, they stick it behind a paywall. Lovely.

can someone tell me where I can find this recipe? is it a quest reward (if so, which quest, where is the quest giver npc?). if not, where did you find it?
