It's a series of quests from one quest giver. I'll give you one guess what her name is. :)

The gold one is going to be great for my sorc in PvP. Now I can have regeneration WITHOUT being squishy under my tissue-paper shield.

Quick question to those kindly taking pts screenies for us :# .I see recipe improvement is 0. Does that mean this food can be crafted by anyone ( for instance, someone who has no skill points invested in provisioning and has not levelled provisioning ?)

Maybe this has something to do with scaling to any character. It would be interesting to see how those values change after the recipe is learned. It might be scaled to character with 'Known recipe".

Yes I'm wondering about this, too.
I'm also wondering if the recipe would level with the character it's learned on.
So if you got it on a new provisioner, would it scale as that provisioner levels his craft?

Yeah exactly my thoughts @Xendyn ...otherwise, what would be the benefit in having levelled up provisioning and invested skill points ( aside from the obvious ones like extra servings that apply to all levels) if everyone can craft the (possibly ) best food in the game without doing any of that.

Yeah...why would they be mixing provisioning ingredients, alchemy ingredients and fish bait to make this food? They'd have to re-label most of the tool tips for ingredient drops. Something seems fishy...and it's not perfect roe...

I wonder if they intend to sell some(lesser) version of this food in the crown store eventually?Or perhaps material packs for these recipes ? (Crafting mats already in crown store in form of malachite, gold scale incoming) Since it requires some of the rarer/more expensive/hard to obtain ingredients across multiple crafting professions?

Oh wow, this is really interesting... Currently I always use either blue food for health + resource (magicka or stamina depending on the character) or purple food for all 3 stats (usually only if I'm tanking). These stat increase/regen boost recipes might make me rethink my builds...

This would be one of those times i want to be wrong :p ...I'm sure I remember them saying that they wouldn't create scarcity/grind in game in order to drive crown shop sales..if I ignore the glass and Akiviri motif/crafting mats, I can (naively ?)still hope that they are sticking to that statement. :o

I noticed the gold recipe has 1 boost and 3 recoveries. Really curious if there will be one with the opposite... All 3 boosts and 1 recovery
