Where are the Holiday Events? Do you desire to see them in ESO?

Yes... I love Holiday events. Make them lore friendly.
Last time and hopefully this gets through... No... and again no. No real life holidays when TES has it's own holidays. Cause if they do IRL holidays they need every single one cause it be kinda "silly" if a Jewish or Muslim player does a Christmas event.

You didn't even read the poll. Shame.

NO... ESO is no place for these events!
The only game that EVER did this well was an old game named; Legend of Mir.

They did not have any silly costumes or novelty "toys" that people would run around with. It was just a simple event. On Xmas they made it so xmas trees popped up around the world and people had to go hunt for them and chop them down, once chopped down it had a chance of dropping a "gift".. On Halloween, a cave opened up that was full to the rim with monsters (like hundreds) and you got dropped into the middle of them and you had to fight your way through whilst the monsters had a chance to drop certain items. None of these items were novelty, they just had a higher chance to drop already in game, rarer items.

This was the only game that had these events in that I actually enjoyed. F knows what WoW was about when you had all those people running around with those horrifyingly ugly low res orc masks on..

If this game was to do anything i would like to see lore events but in this style.. None of this santa hat crap. I can imagine it now.. roaming hordes of naked nords dancing in the town center with stupid santa costumes on. As others have said, if this was ever to come to pass then i am off.

If I see Santa Claus in Tamriel he will meet the sharp end of someone's sword if you catch my meaning....now as for actual Tamrielic dates mentioned in such games a Daggerfall that is another story.

I was torn on how to answer this. I do like holiday events generally. They promote community and all that MMO goodness. However, if I ever see a Santa Claus hat in ESO, that's it. I'm done.

There are a lot of lore friendly holidays that could be implemented in the future. I'm just not convinced that ZoS would ever put the time in if they couldn't charge for it...

Well the famous falling wizard had a Santa hat. So have fun leaving if it happens :)

There is nore important stuff that need to be done than hollidays event, even lore friendly. Hollidays events take a lot of ressources in developement and it only last 2 weeks by year.

So NO NO NO. Give us stories, Dungeons, Trials, a barbershop, Housing, Spellcrafting, whatever.... but hollidays event should be on the bottom of the list or priorities in my humble opinion.

Please read more closely. I am not asking for Santa Claus. I am saying lets make the world become more alive by using in game lore holidays and create events around them to offer a break from the grind through out the year.

To my knowledge they are already working on many of those things you already listed. They have a Quarterly plan in place and stuff has already been developed so far. A small team can make holiday events very easily and quickly. There is not as much resource time required (as you think) to develop these types of events.

No, because I don't want the market to be filled with holiday-themed trinkets and motifs that will end up being sold for millions of gold once the holiday is over.

Make them bind to account? Then goodbye, bag and bank space.

It looked like a Santa hat. ZOS could add that to the game then no one could complain about lore. And plus is Santa's hat really called Santa hat? It's nothing but a mere stocking cap colored red...

I don't like holiday events, because they make me feel I need to play during holidays so that I don't miss content that is available only for short time. I rather spend those holidays with family and friends and play only if I have time for it...

You did see that the yes options states they need to be lore friendly?

Sure did. I don't think they'd implement it correctly, so I erred on the side of caution. On or Off? Correctly implemented, or ZOS implemented? I'd take a 0, otherwise known as a "no".

I think they should add social hubs to the game, it'd make journey experience better. We all know journey needs most improvements, only 11% of players has completed chapter 6 on PS4. So social hubs would be the first step. Basically events like every 1-2 week. For new and old players, Add new Entertainer NPC guild, so people go there to level up their Entertainer Tree. Guild finding. Trading. Mini-games, like Elder Scroll Legends. Lore. Dueling. Buffs. Contests.

Speaking of journey experience, if only 11% has completed chapter 6, man we need something cool like flying mounts. More skill trees too.

Wrong, it's game series spanning 21 years, 12 games, 2 novels, and numerous other things. It has a very wide fanbase who truly care about it and its Lore.

My goodness.... I would think that limited time Holiday decorations and events would be fine. They could make the costumes free as well and make them limited timetime if they could exist off simply selling the game, and making DLC like all the other buy-to-play games out there.

They could even place purchased costumes, etc in the Crown Store during the time of the events. Make those limited and different each year so they are special and desired for purchase. This would not bother me, but there still needs to be a good lore friendly event and quests that players can get rewards from too.
