There are a lot of lore friendly holidays that could be implemented in the future. I'm just not convinced that ZoS would ever put the time in if they couldn't charge for it...
Well the famous falling wizard had a Santa hat. So have fun leaving if it happens

If I see Santa Claus in Tamriel he will meet the sharp end of someone's sword if you catch my meaning....now as for actual Tamrielic dates mentioned in such games a Daggerfall that is another story.
There is nore important stuff that need to be done than hollidays event, even lore friendly. Hollidays events take a lot of ressources in developement and it only last 2 weeks by year.
So NO NO NO. Give us stories, Dungeons, Trials, a barbershop, Housing, Spellcrafting, whatever.... but hollidays event should be on the bottom of the list or priorities in my humble opinion.

To my knowledge they are already working on many of those things you already listed. They have a Quarterly plan in place and stuff has already been developed so far. A small team can make holiday events very easily and quickly. There is not as much resource time required (as you think) to develop these types of events.

Would be nice....
or something on the line of a world event that happens rarely and has a chance to drop something of great value if you complete it.
These should need a good size group to tackle also... not soloable.
We know, we just don't want it to be Lore-Breaking, which is what will happen if they introduce Halloween, and all the other "Unholidays" you mentioned.Guys seriously, Holiday events are so cool and so fun.

@Lightninvash
Wrong, it's game series spanning 21 years, 12 games, 2 novels, and numerous other things. It has a very wide fanbase who truly care about it and its Lore.

My goodness.... I would think that limited time Holiday decorations and events would be fine. They could make the costumes free as well and make them limited timetime if they could exist off simply selling the game, and making DLC like all the other buy-to-play games out there.
