Cyrodil Empty?

Pompeyfluff
Just wanted to check to see if it was only me that was finding cyrodil now to be empty following the IC update (PS4 EU).

I was able to freely run around the busiest campaign (Azura Star) without getting attacked by anyone.

Hopefully people come back into the main Cyrodil areas as part of the fun of PVP was running around in huge groups attacking the castle and the strategies involved.

PC Players - have people started to make their way back to the main campaigns or are they still all in IC

Note: I have IC and like it as well, but it's just good to have some variety

Just give a few weeks. Once the novelty wears off, people will be back stabbing/slashing/bashing/burning/shocking/freezing/poisoning each other on the plains of Cyrodiil. There's only that much Daedra one can take before they need to get the heck out of the IC.

This one does not advocate for any class to be nerfed. There are far deeper underlying issues then a simple "Class Imbalance". The Champion System is the problem. Not classes.

PC players, form what I've seen, are slowly going back to Cyrodiil. But, yeah, Cyro is waaaay emptier than it used to be. For now.

They seriously need to increase the max pop per campaign instead of adding new ones and / or change either the access to IC, or pop considerations IC / Cyro wise.

thought that might be the case.

Was more of an observation rather than a complaint. It's a shame they didnt make some of IC lead into normal Cyrodil to keep people in both areas. Could have had it where some of the sewers lead into keeps, making people fight to keep control of the keep so that they can gain access into IC via other ways. Would have been good to have been able to sneak behind the other alliances in IC by coming in through one of their "own" keeps.

I feel for the people that haven't got IC as they will be walking around for a while in empty campaigns.

Actually, after imperial city, i have had so much fun. It is only good to be in a large group if you want the skyshards and achievement ( or just being mean by camping the spawn points ). You get less loot if in a large grouo, and the tv stones is split.

As in cyrodiil, I dont like that a player can just group up with 16 man and get free a
AP, spamming a supporing skill, while others that actually tried to make their build and go solo or in small groups with friends get nothing because they spend half the day on their horses, and getting rekt by a large group meta.

I dont say that ESO should'nt have large group content, but I really support imperial city with all my heart. Here you can go solo easily, or you can group up with a couple of friends, and if you die, its just the loading screen that is the waiting, not the endless horseriding. When that is said, there is actually no loading if you are in the sewer and go outside from your alliance area.

No one is going back to Cyrodiil in PC. Just guilds with a guy in 1st line of leaderboard fighting each other for emperor. And some are camping at IC gates.
That's just all. There is no any individual players roaming in Cyrodiil anymore. Because no point.
I dont think this will change in time unless they implement something interesting.

I'm bored. I miss the days of logging in, opening the map and seeing 3 way cross swords in 3 different locations on the map with 5 different keeps under siege.

    Introduce gated access.
    Increase populations caps more.

No signs of skill lag yet, bring some life back into cyrodiil.

On 2 new servers. So the gear grinders, sewer gankers, telvar lovers, arena junkies and so on will stay on the old servers for IC. The new servers will be just as empty as the rest.

Yesterday I run from Covenant base naked to Ash. I was attacked once by a wolf and that was it.

The key to a nightblade's success is avoidance, by spell or by stealth; with these skills, all things are possible."
