lethal arrow or focus aim for stamina nightblade

just wanna ask those stamina nightblade who uses bow? which one is better, lethal arrow or focus aim. i've been using lethal arrow and its doing well for me but somebody suggested that focus aim is better than lethal arrow. please help

They honestly are both good.

I usually go the one that decreases healing taken by the enemy I attack because I like it for PVP.

thanks man. i've been using lethal arrow since i became i nightblade and i must say i had a lot of success with it. even on ganking vet 14. i just mark them and sniped them on stealth and sometime it just takes 3-5 lethal arrows to kill other vet 14 before depending on their armor. though i think magicka nightblade got buffed..

Depends on your style of play. Do you focus more on going into melee range for the kill? Prefer to just use Snipe as an opener before gap closing? Go focused aim. You'll most likely already have a ton of CP into Mighty, because Mighty boosts your other physical melee abilities.

Do you prefer to stay at range? Enjoy peppering your enemies with a hail of poisoned arrows? Like using Acid Spray? Soul Assault? Go for Lethal Arrow, for such a build will have a ton of CP into Thaumaturge, thereby boosting your (mostly) poison based ranged assault on a target.

If you ask this for PVP use....I sorry so much, but bow is broken, you have a 90% of possibilities of run out stamina before to kill somebody.....

Before the patch, both morphs was very good but i prefer lethal arrow by the poison effects and healing decrease

I'd say Lethal in IC, Focused Aim in overland Cyrodiil.

Bow and ranged attacks in general in IC are relatively weaker due to the abundance of mobs + LoS IMO.

I dunno, snipe is just so weak now. I could spam snipe into someone like 8+ times and not kill them. Its a good stealth opener but other then that its just ranged support now.

Not that im complaining. The new damage module is way more group based. 1v1s are fun but 1vX feels like trash.

thanks for the infos man, really appreciate it. atleast you gave me something to really think about. if i am in open Cyrodiil, I would rather kill them from range to avoid the risk of being killed by others who are close them. i guess lethal arrow would do.

i've noticed that too. before the patch, sometimes i would just used snipe and kill them 3-5 times using lethal arrow. but now it would take more than that to really damage them. i think the main reason for that more than the snipe being weak is the health has been buffed now. i only have 1 attribute point on health, but after the patch, i saw my health rocketed to 30k. i guess it scaled to vet 14, base on the new patch. i think that's the main reason why it will take a lot to kill a player now because of the health buff

i think you are right man. i was really wondering why i am losing stamina faster now. i am stamina base. i usually start by marking them and use lethal arrow. after the patch i've noticed that i am loosing stamina faster. that's why when i try to close the gap on them using ambush, i still have to wait to regain enough stamina again. i think they really buffed magicka based nightblade because i have 51 attribute points on stamina, have every armor with stamina enchantment, i only have 3 points on magicka, but when i look at my stats, my max magicka and max stamina are just the same (atleast in cyrodiil and IC only). maybe that's one of the reasons a lot of stamina base nightblade switched to magicka

Use snipe without morphing, heres why:

- Unlike Lethal arrow, snipe scales with Migthy & Piercing, providing better synergies with 2h/dw in your other bar.
- Unlike Focused Aim, snipe doesnt let the target hes beeing sniped, theres no big god beam on your victims, and the damage is almost the same.
