Wait Times Entering Cyrodiil

The wait times for Cyrodiil use to be pretty good, I could join my friends in one of the 30 day campaign after only waiting a couple of minutes.
However since the introduction of the Imperial City every campaign is locked with exceedingly long queues. Take my home campaign Azura (EU) the wait time use to be 0-80 people long but now since it is the only 30 day campaign available at this time the queue is over 300 people long.
I making it almost impossible for me to find the time to wait for me to be at the front, I think it could have been handled better knowing that most ESO players would be trying to get in the Cyrodiil, to maybe include a server where it is only Imperial City I know this may not be the best idea however it will let the people taking keeps and the people fighting it out on the streets and below the city, be separated making it more convenient to people who don't have the time to wait in queues experience the Imperial City.
Another way to do it is let everyone have one home campaign but let people have more than one guest or be allowed to guest on any campaign.

    Discussions are already underway about how many and which campaigns to fire up gang. We'll post as soon as they're decided upon and available.

    They are (or maybe already have) working on bringing on more campaigns to help with this :)

    [EDIT] Although the guesting idea sounds really good, I think that would ruin the fact they took "jump to player" away.. since they didn't want campaign hopping. Sure right now and for that situation it seems good, but if/when pops die down, I could see that.

    This is absurd. I have to wait 3 hours to join a campaign on PS4. Totally unacceptable. If this does not get fixed I will have no problem discontinuing my ESO plus account. I have had nothing but problems and headaches from this update. I admit when I can access the content it is fun, but I can't sit and wait in a queue for 3 hours. 3 hours is, on a good day, the max amount I can play.

    Maybe stop stacking on your alliance's buff campaign and actually head to the other campaigns?

    You know, the other campaigns that don't have a 300+ queue? Those are easily identifiable with a symbol that is your alliance's colour that isn't a lock symbol. You'll get in there almost instantly, and you can head to the IC to have your fun. You can switch campaigns for free once your current campaign ends by setting it to switch automatically.

    Disclaimer: You may or may not encounter heavy enemy resistance. But hey, it's Cyrodiil. A PvP zone.

    (Sorry for the snarky tone, it's just that I'm kinda annoyed with the sheer amount of PvE-ers heading to Cyrodiil, clogging up queues and then forming 24man zergballs and rolling around the place causing massive lag. Then you get hate whispers/mail when you do actually engage in PvP)

    This one hails from far Singapore, excuse this one for his high pings. He also apologizes for any formatting/spelling errors, as he tends to answer using a mobile device.

    Insanity is the price of Knowledge. Herma-Mora and Sheogorath, this one bows before thee.

    This one does not advocate for any class to be nerfed. There are far deeper underlying issues then a simple "Class Imbalance". The Champion System is the problem. Not classes.

    @Mojmir: I like your signature :)

    On topic though, they really need to condense the campaigns somewhat, and implement gated access again. It serves the dual purpose of giving the PvPers a reason to fight in overland Cyrodiil, and gives the PvEers a safe harbour in which to farm in peace when access is controlled solely by one faction. There are currently too many campaigns, and the actual fighting is just too spread out.

    There should have never been a concept of a "buff campaign" to begin with. A lot of threads that are going on at the moment could have been totally been unwarranted if buff campaigns were killed off (By condensing PvPers, so there is constant fighting) and implementing gated access (Give us a reason to fight, and we will happily fight for it). ESO's whole story is revolving around the Three-Banners War. Let's face it. PvP and PvE have linked fates in this game. We cannot shaft one just for the sake of the other, or the other will also suffer. Instead of flat out refusing to try, why don't more people give the "opposing side" a go? They might even like it.

    Heck, maybe they should include a tip in the loading screens "Long queue times for Cyrodiil can be mitigated by not queuing for a campaign with a locked status".
