We were pushing for emp and had the keep. We held it for as long as we could. Probably would have held it longer if not for the lag. That group of bananas was dead if the lag didn't hit so hard at that moment.

Umm.. maybe most teams you know, but any good organized AvA guild would have fought tooth and nail until every last one of them AND any PuGs were dead. Why abandon when there is a chance to pull off something awesome?

Pulling out crappy roleplay lines doesn't make what you do any more justifiable either. You wasted everyone's time including your own. Chuck Norris in this instance, can go suck a lemon.

You can pull off the flags and wipe what opposition is there and still take the keep without creating tons of lag that brings the server to a halt for 30+ minutes. Good guilds don't purposefully lag out the server just because someone spammed meteor on them, or trying to take a keep against an entire faction which just isn't feasible.

Having fought my fair share of ad blobs, I'm pretty confident that I've seen them pull out maybe one time in all of our lag battles. The only group I can recollect seeing do this multiple times from all three alliances is havoc, so when possible I like to /sitchair with them.

Teklin aslo doesn't expect you to sit there and wipe. What he is suggesting is leaving the inner keep and trying to get it under siege again. Disengaging like this can cause the lag to stop. You can then try and wipe the AD their while the keep is flagged again and retake it. It is a good tactic to combat this type of lag, but not guarenteed. Definitely a lot better than ping ponging flags after walls are repaired. Hopefully Daniel will also employ this tactic in the future instead of wasting everyone's time for 30 min.

@NPK Daniel I main DC and have for the past three or four months. Don't believe me? Ask WRX or any of the other Deci members how many times I run with them, maybe twice a week at most. I've been running with VE almost exclusively. Nice try with the straw man though.
