I'm an ESO plus gamer only because I support games I'm willing to play. The ESO plus is low. It's barely noticeable and kept at that state to not offend people who will run screaming "OMG PAY TO WIN". You must realize that you're no longer playing an MMO. You're playing captain Ahab. You're on a boat ride. We are after whales. Whales are people who mmo devs that create free to play game fish for. They are people who will pay $15,000 to look good to you. So far the only lure is CP grinds and ESO only has a few.

So at this point we are all mariners and you must understand your job. Whales don't throw money at developers who can't keep them freshly in supply of players who marvel about how awesome they are because they have 1600 conquest points. You're bait. Ahab has to make the game fun enough for enough players to stick around so that a Whale is lured into having a big enough audience to spend enough cash to look good in front of. That's your sole purpose. It doesn't make what you think of game design, ask for, like dislike... NO, they, ZoS are looking for players dumb enough to be lures for whales.

They'll be arguments that this game is B2P which means "buy too play". But realistically think about it. It's a plot to not be Free to pay. Because free too play is full of the bad sort. So you have to buy the game which makes you Buy too play = B2P. Realistically though you're just B2P costumers that paid to become F2P. Because you bought the game... and now, its F2P. But realistically.. Youre B2P a game that is P2W.. which is pay too win. because a big fat whale can purchase all the 2hour exp scrolls to get CPs and that makes his char better than yours in all levels of PvP and PVE and that means PAY TOO WIN = P2W. So now you are Buy to Play Pay Too Win idiots.. B2PP2W.. That's the new one.. Because you bought a game to play where players can pay to win. Seems to me.. This is the last time we fall for this F+*_(&_%#(&_(% ....of B2P.. because its PAY 2 WIN except that WE GIVE THEM $60 BEFORE WE DONT BUY TO LOSE...

So there you have it.. No eso plus, us b2p is not worth it.. Because if they gave more they would offend the F2P crowd and the big fat whales would have no one to impress....

Here's a new topic.. How long do you think the mmo genre is going to put up with this sh... stuff?

and for future reference this game is not B2P.. Its B2P2P2W It's buy to play to pay to win... Get that.. Don't even try to differ because that's exactly what this is.. B2P is a sham FRAUD. You're ignorantly paying in advance for a P2W game.. Lets clarify this to the genre before we're duped again. Essentially a very mediocre game like this advertises lies to get you to buy the game.. Then they turn it into a b2p which.. Next is P2W. This game and its dev have lied so much.. I feel DEFRAUDED.

I will sub when the sub has more features. Right now, I'd rather buy crown packs. I don't care about the 10% bonuses. As I see it, the biggest draw of the sub is access to the DLC. Once there are 6 or so DLC packs the sub will be worth more than it is now.

Those that are subbed right now, and have been subbed since April have done so out of their desire to be a subbed member. For their $75 they've gotten 7500 crowns and a 20% bonus. To XP and gold. If someone spent $80 on two crown packs during this same period they would have gotten 11000 crowns. To me, the value of subs vs crowns is obvious, especially during this period when there are no DLC packs.

On Feb 6 (when I had like 3 months left on my sub) I posted this thread: http://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/150450/eso-subscription-benefits-suggestions/p1

In it I have a list of suggested features that would have retained my subscription. Some of the suggestions were built on other ideas I had posted but the ideas that could have implemented immediately were:

    • 10% Public Crown Store discount: This would entice players to buy more as subscribers!
    • Ownership of DLC as Loyalty Bonuses over time If DLC pack 1 costs $45 require players be subscribed for a TOTAL of 4 non-consecutive months to own this DLC. If DLC pack 2 costs $30, require players be subscribed for an additional 3 months (7) to own this DLC. The total cost of the months subscribed should be MORE than the cost of the DLC. Players shouldn't lose access to these owned DLC if they unsubscribe.
    • Able to join up to 10 Guilds Players who subscribe should be able to join more guilds than those who do not. The additional guilds should be under the "subscriber guilds" and should be clear as to which the player will loose access to if they unsubscribe.
    • +4 Additional Character slots Players should have access to an additional 4 character slots, which they loose access to if they unsubscribe.
    • Priority queuing when entering game and zoning: Subscribers should be at the front of the line to get into the game and to move from one area to another.
    • Access to a subscriber-exclusive area of the Crown Store. In a special subscriber-only area of the crown store players will still have to buy items with Crowns but the 10% Subscriber discount should NOT apply to these items. ALL players should be able to view the Subscriber Crown Store, but only Subscribers should be able to buy from it. Additionally, this could include the following 3 features.
      • 1 month early access to all Costumes and Mounts: Giving a month's early access to Costumes and Mounts will do a lot to make subscriptions desirable. Subscribers who buy these items early will not get the 10% crown store discount.
      • 5 day early access to all DLC expansions: Giving 5 days early access will entice players who feel like they must play the newest content right away won't be able to resist subscribing!
      • Ability to purchase the Pledge of Mara: Only in the Subscriber Crown Store should the Pledge of Mara should be able to be purchased.
    • Monthly Subscriber Treasure Maps: Each month, Subscribers should get at least 1 map (1 in each faction would be nice) that leads players to treasures. These treasures could include special subscriber items.

    This is actually pretty good!

All the ppl talking about they support the game, so they pay the subscription.... You support the game by buying it in the first place... It wasn't free... The $15 should give us enough to where we feel it is worth it as opposed to playing the game that we paid 60 dollars for, but without a subscription
