But did any of you really not realize that a Cash Shop = Fluff Vanity Items galore
This is the tip of the iceberg , as soon as the bean counters see virtual items "making it rain" you can expect more and more.
If this type of thing truly bothers you , bail now , because pumpkin costumes , skeletal pets are the beginning and if they sell its going to be more and more and more.
Just the way cash shop games work.
(honestly why I still prefer sub games , even liking a pumpkin costume or skeletal mount , I rather everything be earned in game)

I knew they would have holiday stuff in the Crown Store, but I was holding out that they would do Tamrielic Holidays with their own creative take on existing lore. If they promoted it, those things would sell. Skeletons with glowing eyes, pumpkin heads, and scare crows are so United States Halloween. Lazy people phoning it in.

I enjoy the overall game , a lot, but honestly if I could get ESO style combat in FF XIV ARR I would be playing it instead because the devs there fall on the sword and are the opposite of lazy.
But that's the story it seems to me of ESO , great core , lazy support and continuation of it.0 -

Interesting as I never had a skeletal horse from any of the DLC's or at least knew nothing about it. Got one through a mod. Btw, I do know the difference between an official DLC & a player created mod.

Arvak was a single unique skeletal horse found in the Soul Cairn. (Dawnguard DLC)
