Be honest, how long did it take to get VR 14?

Got to lvl 50 in 10 days and to VR10 in around two weeks(leveled all crafting skills to 40+ during this time)

No, but everytime the player base finds "the best grind spot" it quickly gets nerfed into the ground by the devs and we have to look for a new best spot. I don't grind myself but I can see the issue. They hate us grinding but they give us a system that rewards it. Then they take away any means of getting the rewards... The only other way is to do dailies in Craglorn and Cyrodiil but the exp for that is complete ***, and there is a 50 daily quest cap per day. so you can't do all of the cyrodiil quests, the pledges and craglorn dailes on the same day. Also for those that say that 50 quests in a day is a lot, each town in cyrodiil has 10 quests and even a complete noob can finish all 10 in less than 30min veteran players about 15min or faster depending on which town. So what they need to do is make it worth the effort to play their content or the player base will keep finding the next meta grind

Literally in every MMO I've played, FF ARR, WoW, SWG, Guild Wars, I can get to the top level/gear set in usually two months.

ESO? Nope! Granted I've been heavily distracted by the uber addicting PVP. Mostly have been focusing on PVP playing, which is definitely a reason for my delay to VR14.

But gee wizz, there is so much to do in this game and so many quests and areas to discover and complete it's crazy lol.

I'm almost done with Aldamacs Journal, I have to finish a few quests and I'm done.
Two questions.
What do I do after the journal is done? And how long did it take you all to get VR 14?

A lot of the VR 14 are PC players who took advantage of the port over

I play a lot have 2 VR characters one at vr6 and one at vr4

I imagine it will be close to 6 months to get one to vr14

I would imagine it is because the Level 6 character was created a long time ago (Nestor said it was a former mule character, i.e. one that is used to hold items that don't fit in your inventory), and even though it wasn't really played the riding skills were leveled up.

@Allyhoo811 yeah ... But who trains a horse on a mule every day to get it to 60, that's dedication to the cause ... I begrudge having to log in on an alternative everyday to do it.

I have a L3 Imperial that I plan to make into a tank. She was created weeks ago and has since been parked at VG until I'm ready to level her. She already has wood/cloth/smith crafting at 32, many 4 and 5 level traits researched, horse speed at 23 and Enchanting at 21.

once i get to the area,i usually team up with a random player,if its taken i move on to another. once we get the grind going i pop the potion and commit morbid.

Took me about a month for my first. 1 vet rank per day played on average sometimes two if I play more. Some things provide very little xp, but fun, so they can slow you down.

Or when you say days can you be more specific and maybe put it into hours as I imagine you grinding out a level for a day lime 12 to 16 hours playing

But it can't be that long if it is I'd like to reevaluate my 6 month time frame to like maybe half a decade

In the time it took you to write this I just did one turn of the grind.

I'm not Veteran Rank 14 yet, but it took me 4 full weeks to get to Veteran Rank 1 as someone who recently bought ESO.

Took me 10 days from v1-14. (wanted to be viable again in pvp)

Just to put an example: this morning I only played 1 hour and I earned 2 CP's, 1000 TV's and an hour full of monster killing fun!

I stopped playing my first character at VR10. Going by training days and padding a couple of weeks, it took me nearly 3 months to get to that level playing NB.

With my current character, VR4, I've spent approximately 23 days playing.

My days work out like this:
M-Th: about 3 hours play time.
F-Su: as much as I can squeeze before my brain shuts down, generally 12 hours.

This will change at the end of September, as I'll lose my 12 hour Fridays to 3 hours play time.

If I continue with this schedule, I should be VR14 in about 30-40 days from today, though I certainly am not making this a goal. It's just how the game plays.

1-50 in about 8 hours sounds about right. That's about how long it took my new DK to hit 50 spread out over about 4 days playing a few hours a day. And that's including only 60% of Stonefalls done and about 40% of Deeshan done with nothing else done in the other zones for EP.

I want to delete 3 of my level6 mule alts, but I don't want to waste the 120 horseriding upgrades.

An one mule has a 40 Enchanting. I need another slot.

To the guys leveling 1-50 in 8 hours: Do you you level by questing (without reading) and all the rest in the zones or do you also grind these levels by killing groups of monsters. I just reached my first veteran level in about 2 months (not playtime).
I actually wanna get a few veteran levels quickly to be viable in pvp and then get back to my questing.
But I don't have a partner to group with to grind a bit on ps4
