Be honest, how long did it take to get VR 14?

Played since launch, got too level VR14 about a week ago.
Only grinded once, just to test it... but i found it quite boring.

Done all Quests up till Gold now, as well as all dungeons (besides Trials).
Still need to do Gold + Craglorn, so i still have a lot of content to go through.

Questing - about 4-6+ hours per level, depending on the level quest you're doing, whether you're listening to the story, etc.
Grinding - <2 hour per level, average is probably an hour, I was getting a level about every 45 mins from v10 to v14.

Having a set made for grinding, xp pot + 15% subscriber + 15% buff server (no ring of mara, but that's a good one too) and the levels fly by. I still do it for CP grinding and get about 2 CP in 50 minutes.

I went to v14 on my templar going through every zone every quest etc. I hit Vr10 at the end of Caldwell Gold. I spent the last 4 levels in Craglorn quests, DSA, or farming Vet Dungeons for gear.

As others have stated going to be hard to get people to publicly announce grind spots. I didn't want to spend another 2 months going through all the caldwells so I took my second toon grinding instead. I go quest to pickup skill points as needed and when I do quest I only do the ones that either give a skill point or advance me to the next area. I'm not interested in the plight of the tree people a second time around.

Well i've been playing since a week after it was released on consoles, though i dont play as much as I want to or as much as I played on other MMOs and I have yet to hit VR14. Ive been on VR6 for about two weeks now but in my defense ive only played about a week in total out of those two weeks and i always seem to get sidetracked quite often because i farm mats.

Hopefully with Update 7 finally hitting consoles next week I can make it to VR14 or 16 much quicker.

Well, when the patch hits the total amount of EXP needed for one vet level is going to be reduced with 15 or 25 % and vet quests and dungeons will be giving more exp. So leveling will be faster

You can hit VR14 in 6 months (realtime, not game time) if you're leisurely mucking about. 1 hour per non-vet level, and that's generous. After that, if you simply do enough to maintain your enlightenment, you're looking at another 140 days.

Again, this is really taking your time.

I think I hit mine somewhere around the 30 days /played mark, back when it was still VP's, not 4,000,000 XP's, not 1,000,000 XP's, and not 850k XP's.

Playing since june when it came on PS4.. Now I am VR9.. not rushing and enjoyed a wonderfull vacation in the mountains, lol

Well days/weeks is very relative, hours is a better indication. Grinding a character pre-IC right now you can do 1-50 in 8 hours with xp pots solo, little faster if you're in a duo and have ring of mara. vr1-14 can be done in about 16-20 hours of actual grinding - does not include time to go repair, sell, whatever.

Also if using XP pots don't forget the provisioning passive, save you quite a bit of money. That's then almost an hour of XP for the 3-4k the XP pot costs - I was making twice that in an hour just selling the white/greens looted, and doesn't include the blues/purples I threw into the bank for decon.

it depends on playstyle I went from vet1-11 in maybe a week and a couple days with 2-4 hrs of gameplay a day via grinding. once I hit 11 I slowed down only because I wanted to slow down and do other things than grind. it only takes about 2hrs for a vet level I mean 1hr and I was half or more way to vet 12 using xp pots. to me the real chore is getting from 1-50 after that its no big deal

I grinded on one of my alts 12 mill xp in two days, never again though, my brain was done

I lvld V14 in a month, with a lousy internet connection... the times of Spellcar grinding...
