Honestly, the only problem I've got is the new stuff coming out seems to have higher res textures than the content already in the game. Now, that could just be a byproduct of the screenshots they're using. But, stick those costumes next to Emmeric, and it wouldn't look out of place for style, just that the dress would be much higher fidelity.
The screenshots are in WQHD, which is higher than FULL HD that most gamers probably use while playing.

But whoever they put in charge of designing CLOTHING needs to be flogged. Has this person EVER played the game????

Noble Dress is on my shopping list... most definitely. The Wedding Suit bugs me and when I see the Noble Suit I think of either an old Doctor Who or a newer Sherlock Holmes.
In any case, I definitely do not agree with Morna about the Noble Dress. It is not wrong for ESO.The screenshots are in WQHD, which is higher than FULL HD that most gamers probably use while playing.
Which means they will look like indistinct fuzzy blobs in HD?

Yeah, though that's not exactly what I'm talking about. There's already a noticeable fidelity jump between, say, the Breton armor and the new Redguard and Orcish textures. The new stuff (like these outfits) coming from the crownstore that doesn't reuse old assets (like most of the costumes, including the ashlander pack) are noticeably sharper. I suspect the issue will only get worse as time goes by.
Ya that's a typical thing in many games, new stuff tends to have more details. We can see this on our mounts as well. I must admit that I don't exactly know why, if its just to sell more or if there is an actual technical reason for it.

Not sure I agree that the dress is wrong for the ES universe. Look at some of these dresses from Oblivion. I, for one, am excited that they are adding more clothing costumes instead of just armor packs

The point is that this is a different game, different art style and different era of Tamriel history. These outfits just don't fit with the art style of this game. To me, they will always look glaringly out of place.

I think they should do a co-op ad campaign with Victoria's Secret and get some good under-garment costumes going.

No, they don't look awful. In fact, they're rather pretty. But they look like they were made for another game entirely, not ESO. They do not at all fit the artistic aesthetic of this game. They look more like they came from, respectively (top to bottom)Noble Dress: 1500's England, Noble Suit: 1700's England, Wedding Suit: 1800's England. Of course the currently available wedding and evening gown (which are exactly the same dress recolored) look like bad Ren Faire wear.
Now, whoever is designing the armor costumes is awesome. But whoever they put in charge of designing CLOTHING needs to be flogged. Has this person EVER played the game????
Sometimes I feel like the only person who actually likes some of the costumes on the store/the ones coming out >_>

I'd prefer we be able to make the clothes in game.
Sell finished garments in the Crown Store. Sell patterns, fabric and other supplies in the Crown Store.

The outfit the female Nede is wearing on the right looks AWESOME! although i suspect i won't be wearing the helmet.
I agree, the costumes look cool and nice, but holy crap, they really don't fit into the Elder Scrolls universe. I hope this is not a sign of things to come where ESO goes full stupid and starts introducing largely lore-breaking aesthetics into the game.
