Correction: PvP died Month 2 after Launch (May, 2014) where populations dropped 90+% and effectively 100% on most servers.

three locked on NA/PC/AS would say no, but it is the only campaign locked most of the time. I do think a lot of players like myself play until the lag settles in, then I go find something else to do or call it night, I do think it will die if they can't get a handle on the lag, and it sucks to your having fun and then boom lag wall, spoils the fun faster than a dropped internet connection.

I'm not a hardcore gamer/pvper and this is my first and only MMO so I can't speak on any other game, but in ESO there is one glaring thing obvious to me. There is no doubt there is a population of ESO that are the hardcore "gaming is life", "elitist" crowd. That was never more evident to me than when I watched Sypher defeat Sheliza on video. That boy Sypher jumped out of his chair so fast and with such excitement that you could start to see something rising in his pants. He was that excited.

I also believe that the most dense population of hardcore players/guilds are on the AD and EP with little doubt left in my mind. Now I will be nice here so I will say that I don't know most anyone in these EP and AD guilds (and no one here irl, thankfully I'd say), so what I say is more for the more famous, hhhhmmm, Iets say 5-10% of these reds and yellows.

You guys run around cyrodiil "winning" in a game that feeds you mostly inexperienced players. Inexperienced players who are further, not on comms, didn't have a guild buddy craft gear and pots etc, and the list goes on and on. You'll sit in a tower with all your gear, champ points, and resources, spamming all you got, dropping caltrops, and killing the unfortunate that enter. You seem to love it and get a great kick out of it. And do you all know what the punchline is here? IT'S THAT YOU CONSIDER YOURSELVES ELITE! Let's all lol in unison. What would be showing the public the truth while you stream farms and general cyrodiil pvp is if you dressed up like circus clowns while doing it. And I don't mean your char. I mean you while streaming dressed as a clown for all to see. It would be the genuine thing to do. The guilds should sequester themselves to a tiny portion of cyrodiil where they can focus on gulid v guild and end the charade.

So let's get to the poll. Clown guilds with immense advantages over the General cyrodiil population before any skill comes into play farming an inexperienced general enemy player base, all the class balancing and exploits that need to be sewn up, the lag, etc, etc. Yeah ESO PvP has taken a real beating and I haven't personally decided on its fate because Imperial City hasn't been released to the general population.

On a side note, I have more fun PvPing the AD and EP on the forums.

Couldn't have said it better, and that is the whole reason I play Blinxey....to mock the eliteists. I rolled a DC last night, played on a non vet server and had the best time. No super power gear, caual,, mix of player skills, some really funny moments.

The joke is how much you talk for how little you do. I eventually had to put you on ignore because of the tons of zone spam. You talk more than Sypher, Deltia, Lawl, and Kerviz combined. A new player could accidently assume you are an authority on this game.

Lag is the most frustrating issue.

I had hope for IC, but turning my favorite RvR game into a instanced Battleground won't save it. BTW, way too much mobs in IC. It feel like a Battleground scaled for PvE queens. Mobs are the biggest threat down there then the players and this is no joke.

I hate that game as much as I like it. There is no game on the market now or in a near future that could fullfil my RvR needs as ESO did, but keep playing ESO is masochism when you have to accept playing with 900 ping when it start to get intersting on the battlefield.

Between patch 1.5 where substain build was the way to fight and 2.0 where burst build was the king, I was expecting a in between direction from ZoS dev. Which is not the case on PTS, where 50% dmg reduction is way to high. 35% IMO would be much appreciable where burst build and substain would find more balance.

There's a number of things killing PvP right now: lag, exploits, bugged abilities, class imbalance, a lack of a seriously competitive server and overall boredom with the lack of new PvP content. Imperial City is quite honestly the make or break for PvP in this game.

Overall, I've been very impressed with Imperial City concept, and absolutely have a blast in the urban combat-esque environment. However, ZoS has still missed the boat on many much needed balancing issues with individual skills, instead opting for a more heavy handed sweeping nerf to all damage, shields and healing.

Battle is hard and exhausting. After an intense one, my nuts start to feel heavy and I rest them on a forehead or two before I catch my breath. Don't knock me for that man.

You're the easiest player to kill in this game. I understand why you rage man.

I actually don't care about how many times I die or my score, if you were in DC chat. I think the more accurate thing to say is many of you reds and yellows definitely do care. Obsessively care even. And that is the joke.

The joke is how much you take for how little you do. I eventually had to put you on ignore because of the tons of zone spam. You talk more than Sypher, Deltia, Lawl, and Kerviz combined. A new player could accidently assume you are an authority on this game.

Are you even serious right now? Seriously. "Authority" in a game? Please don't [snip] further.

And I just had to come back and add this:

It puzzles me how you talk about TALKING, yet you never took the 2 seconds it would take to simply ignore me? And that isn't a joke?

You tell us all here if we should laugh or not.

Should have stuck to posting more images of biceps instead of trying to say something intelligent =p.

Yeah, um, my english is legible. He is whining about chat and sobs about having to EVENTUALLY ignore me. So why didn't he do it first thing?

Seems like the intelligent question to ask.

PvP is dying because of how terrible the performance is, People get tired of not being able to play the game and deal with everything that they've been putting up with for over a year now.
