I remember in beta when one of the senior guys at ZOS was saying how crafting would be relevant and that it would be a very important skill in the game. He said that it would take time to research. A long time. The long time spent researching would be worthwhile. If a player wanted a special item they could go to a crafter.
Well, this is not exactly how it is turning out.
You have this sort of nonsense transpiring involved with the amount of materials needed to craft decent armor.
Who's willing to bet that for the next update, it'll require 200-250 materials per item?

It's not that bad. The update isn't even a week old and i already have four pieces of VR16 gear, and very close to having 5th.Who's willing to bet that for the next update, it'll require 200-250 materials per item?
Not me. If i had to bet, it would be on the next update adding a whole new tier of material, and having similar amounts required to craft v17/v18 as v15/v16.

Nice, but really? You have obtained that much in so little time? Now the question becomes, did you buy those materials or did you farm them? Because if you farmed them, then all I can say is wow. Your grinding skills must be unmatched.

Three armor pieces for 30000 telvar stones, one dagger purely from deconstructed v15 junk metal items, and one bow the same way as dagger(still missing 18 wood material)
The stones can be farmed really fast if you start with 100 for the instant 2x modifier.
