Have you tanked vDSA? 4+ axes in AA? Mantikora?

Sounds like we are being forced into stam builds as tanks and it will reduce any damage tanks do down even lower. All for the sake of pvp.
Maybe if they improved the heavy armor passive that regens magicka and stam for each time you get hit so its useful. But we all know that passive is absolutely useless.
I hope they never let this change happen and find a different solution to the pvp blocking. This is not the answer that is for sure.
But we know this thread will be ignored. No MMO dev has ever paid any attention to any forum thread about changes they have planned in any game on any forum. If they listened to the player base they wouldnt be adding more vet levels. No one has been sitting there asking for more levels. More end game content yes but not to make the old end game content outdated.
If anything they should be making pvp tanks stronger not weaker. No one sees a tank in pvp and thinks oh that is a threat. Its the dps builds that just happen to use a shield that need the nerf.

PvE "End Game" is already ruined by it being 6 months old, too easy (hopefully this change will help) and unrewarding.
If you really think this is going to be a problem in trials, there's a couple of options for you:
- Find a better tank.
- Start using a tank rotation.
- Have a Templar throw spears at the tank.
Considering how ridiculously easy PvE in this game is, maybe this is a good change for PvE as well...
You don't even have to be a tank to "tank" Sanctum bosses in this game, you can just kite them around as stamina NB and the second troll boss can't even one shot a medium armour player with 20k health.
I tried soloing him, turned out he has too much health regen and the adds ** you up x)
Lastly, if you're worried about running out of stamina, just have a Templar throw some spears at you. Problem solved.
Oh, and swap stamina regen bonuses for +maximum stamina bonuses. If you're a DK, that'll make Helping Hands give you ridiculous amounts of sustain.

Why not? Most MMOs (you know, the ones with real end game) have bosses that require a tank rotation (it's not even an option, but a requirement). WoW, Rift, SWTOR etc...

So, how much stamina does your tank actually have, if he runs out of stamina from those slow manticora punches, even with a Templar providing shards for stamina regen?

I can be absolutely certain our tank will have zero problems with this change.
Also, your comment implies that you are not playing a tank yourself, so maybe you should take your own advice?
P.S. We have a stamina NB who has "tanked" the Manticora by simply kiting him around with taunt, that's how easy the content is.
P.P.S. I find it hard to believe that anyone playing in a "top guild" would complain about content becoming too difficult. Sanctum Ophidia hardmode is completed in less than 15 minutes in Europe.
