Zenimax refusing to fix a system glitch.
Akaviri Imports trading guild on US-PC lost its bid in Craglorn. Officers and I ran around looking for a guild trader that was unhired. We found one in the Marbruk Outlaws Refuge. An officer selected the "hire trader" option, and it instead placed a bid of 100g for next week without even giving us the trader for this week.
Maintenance then hit and booted us out of the game. Hours later another officer got online and went to the same trader and selected "hire trader". this time it gave us the trader for the week, but we are still locked in for next week. I emailed and called Zenimax support and was replied with a refusal to undo the bid even though they have done it for other guilds.
Zenimax is refusing to undo the bid that was done through system error. There is nothing we are able to do about it, and are now forced into another week with a trader we do not want all because Zenimax won't fix the issue.
I would be extremely happy if Zenimax fixed this.

Tough it sucks for you, that you lost this weeks bid on a trader because of a maintainance - plys, this thread is here for the people with the problem of crashing constantly that is making game unplayable for them/us and trying to solve the issue. And your comment is really unrelated to that and just confuses any reader about what we are actually trying to solve here..

Kudos for that Bethesda!

Considering I only bought the game on 1st not impressed that I was only able to play for half a day then nothing since!!! I can load the game but only stay there for about 20 seconds before it crashes and that's in the tutorial on a new character. 1st character opens in stonefalls to a deserted town and crashes within 5 seconds.

Please roll back the last patch or fix it.
Hello again,
Yes, however, the game itself has getting more demanding recently, which is why we have dropped support for Direct X 9 recently, as well as XP. The graphics and processor requirements have been updated as well.
You have the hardware to run the game, however, the way the system has been assembled is limiting it's performance and causing this crash due to RAM shortages.
A graphics card this powerful really shouldn't be installed on a 32 bit system. As well as this, there is currently 4GB of RAM out of 8GB that is installed going to waste.
The only way to resolve this will be an upgrade to a 64 bit system, or as mentioned, add a less powerful card to allow for more RAM to be available for the game. Upgrading to 64 bit will be the best option as your system then will be running on 8GB rather than 4GB, which will be plenty for everything to run a lot better.
There may be an IT or PC specialist locally that will confirm what I have explained to you better, but this is a really inefficient system setup at the moment.
The reason why performance is a lot lower on OpenGL is because it compensates for the lack of RAM much better than Direct X.
Kind regards,
Matthew.
