Great job Zenimax, you have finally fixed the bugged shields bars.
Now I dont have to relog every 20 minutes to fix it, Im very happy with this fix!

The long awaited pvp changes will probably come in the next major content update, hopefully we hear more about this soon.

I'm interested to see whether this has been fixed, my shield bars used to bug out after leaving a lag fight not stacking multiple shields.

I really hope so, it would be a downer if they put it in the patch notes without really fixing it. Any improvement is welcome though, it gets annoying to relog every 20-30 minutes.

Instead of fixing game breaking bugs they just delete threads that make aware of it. check it out!

Could post it on other forums but I think they got the message :D

Wouldn't be first time they've stated that something is fixed when it's not!

Seriously people, you are crying about large patches?

I suggest you learn to read.

No one is complaining about "large patches".

We are complaining about large patches that do nothing.

There's a difference; one that most 8 year olds would be able to figure out.

    All The Best

So, if those were smaller, you wouldnt complain?
-thats not a question to be answered, so you don't have to lie.

To say patch is not doing a thing you have to actually see into the package and with proper programming expertise you could say. Throw a stone now.

Anyway, I just think some people will never stop complaining.

For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.
O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth!

I think people are becoming dis-heartened this has been going on for over 1 year now.

Proposed PvP changes still not implemented, PvP still in a sorry state of affairs.

After all they can hotfix / nerf grind spots overnight but they still haven't raised the XP gains in Craglorn.

How many patches did we have to wait for the being feared under the world bug fix, 3? (correct me if I'm wrong)

    Enough is enough!

    1) I don't lie. In fact the most common criticism levelled at me is that I am too honest for my own good.

If the patch was smaller I may complain IF it wasn't apparent what it was fixing.
If the patch were 20GB I wouldn't complain IF I could see the new content and/or see what was being fixed.

So far I've had an awful lot of patch and no significant fixes or content.

    That's the issue.

Some people just don't get it that there are plenty people out there that don't have fast internet with unlimited download volumes. There have been 3 patches this month. That's been ~10GB for just minor fixes. ZOS is simply wasting peoples time /download volumes/money with their incompetence to create proper patches. Also, inb4 "get better internet"....

Well the good side of this 8 hour patch (patch took 6 hours, download 2 hours) was that i got time to edit all my eso vids and upload them.

Seriously people, you are crying about large patches? Who are you then:
    • 56k modem users?
    • Are you paying in gold for every byte of data transferred?
    • Is your internet slower than sending a CD by DHL Express overseas?

If not then stop the drama, please...

And if yes, go play Skyrim, MMO is not compatible with your internet...
    A quote from system requirements:
You will also need a persistent internet connection in order to play. System requirements are subject to change over time.

It gets really damn old having to use up a large percentage of my limited downloads, with literally nothing of substance to show for it every two weeks, just so that I can play a game where I have finished everything that is of any interest to me anyway, a game where even my favourite aspect which is PVP, is starting to feel very stale, and unexciting.

No real incentive for me to download these patches, or to even bother putting time into my characters anymore.

Another patch. Another night i cannot play. Such a stupid way to patch a game.

I'm currently "repairing" the launcher after getting the "unable to download patch manifest" error for the first time. Tried manually downloading according to the instructions in the KB article, tried running in administrator mode, nothing worked. I've been at this for about 2 hours and it's still at 25%. Nice job... As if there weren't enough frustration IN the game...

My feeling is that they should remove the switch to Repair. In most cases, this is not necessary, and it is currently a misguided attempt to detect a problem and fix it. They could save themselves some support costs if they just patched out the message and the automatic switch to Repair. At least until someone can figure out how to properly write code that detects a legitimate problem that needs to be repaired.

@daemonios If the launcher starts and displays the "Play", and immediately pressing "Play" starts the game, and you can log in and play the game, then Repair is not needed. Just close the launcher and reopen it, or bypass the launcher and use the EXE directly.

I know I don't have to repair every time the launcher tells me to. In fact, I don't use the launcher except for patching the game anymore. But today repairing was the only way to get the game to patch.

Look we can all agree that ZOS dropped the ball on ESO. There is no debating this.

If ZOS wants this game to get more members/paying monthly they need to add content and they need to add content close to every month for at least a year.

You mean they took something they had already broken, and broke it even more?

Maybe "zenimaxed" should be the new industry buzzword for taking something that is FUBAR and FUBARing it some more.

Oh hell no, they zenimaxed that so bad, its just unusable now.

This is never going to happen.

My guess is that it will average out to be more like once per quarter, or 4 times per year, released in major Updates. In between these will be incremental patches that average every other week.

Also, the definition of "content" that ZOS uses is more along the lines of anything new in any part of the game. New areas, new systems, new features, new capabilities.
