Scrolling Combat Text, where is the hits and crits numbers on PS4 or XB1?

I really hate scrolling combat text, but we do need a normal combat log. Not being able to see what's going on with the numbers is really bad.

You say that like a crappy interface won't drive people away. This game is basically torture. I'm only here as long as it takes to finish building my new gaming rig and for Camelot Unchained and/or Crowfall to launch. This is like Baby's First MMO from Fisher-Price. This is about CHOICE and the more choices you give players the more players are happy. If you don't like/want the information cluttering your screen, if you don't care to be informed about the details, you can always leave it disabled and play the game the way you want.

Interestingly enough, my position on scrolling battle text is exactly the same as what my opinion on chat bubbles was back when they were being discussed: I personally hate it with a passion, and it's one of the biggest reasons I've stayed away from certain other game, but as long as it can be turned off (and is preferably off by default) I'm in favour of adding it to the game so that those who enjoy it will have it.
