Not receiving content from Imperial Edition or Explorer's Pack

    Monday I reinstalled the game to see if that might work and of course it didn't. Tuesday night I was having some performance issues with the game so I restarted to see if it would help. When I logged back in I was greeted with the message that the explorer pack was added to my game.

    I tried the uninstall and reinstall of the explorer pack last night and, success!!!
    It picked up I had the pack, allowed ne to make any race for any alliance, and once in the game I got my pet and all the other bits and bobs. Worth a go guys

    So you only uninstalled the Explorer's Pack DLC and not the entire game, right? You didn't have to repay for the install? I just want to make sure I understand before I try it tonight.

    No check the known bugs thread page for the update on a solution. Also if I uninstall the game will I lose all my progress and my character? I've worked really hard and don't want to lose it.

    All of that data is stored on their servers. You wont lose anything except for the options settings.

    Please, please, please can you fix the issues with the explorers pack? I can't begin the game until I can make a Dark Elf in the Aldmeri Dominion alliance. All I wanna do is have some fun with my friends. I know that the servers issues and NPC issues are important but I think not being able to begin the game is a pretty big problem as well. I was raging out due the uselessness of the customer service emails and the 1 hour and 10 minutes on hold phone call, but at least I finally got to talk to a nice man who added me into the forums and answered some of my questions. It is really frustrating to have to wait blindly for a fix, so can an admin please post an update about how long it will take to fix the explorers pack or at the very least what progress has been made. A little communication goes a long way.

    Couldn't agree more, at this point I'll take anything, just as long as I know they're either actively working on it, or have made some progress towards a fix.... Seems like they're just ignoring us the last few days.

    I had purchased the Premium Edition that was on the Xbox Store, supposed to come with Explorer's Pack, Imperial Upgrade and 5,500 crowns.

    First time logging in I noticed I did not receive the crowns. I had received mail for Imperial Edition upgrades though. The first character I made was an Imperial and didn't notice at the time that I hadn't received the Explorer's pack.

    I later tried to make a Khajiit in Daggerfall but found out that I didn't have Explorer's Pack. Sent a support ticket which went back and forth a few times. One of the representatives told me that I wasn't eligible for the Explorer's Pack since I didn't preorder. I explained which edition of the game I purchased and got a reply that it has been escalated to a higher tier of support.

    Never got a response from the higher tier but a day or two ago I finally got the pack in the mail and it all seems to be working now. Also received the 5,500 crowns eventually.

    Yeah sorry that info isn't very helpful but keep trying. I'm not sure if the higher tier of support went ahead and fixed it somehow or if it just finally came thru on its own.

    I was really quite irritated when the tech support representative was trying to say that I wasn't eligible for it because I didn't preorder. I wasn't completely polite in my response as I was a little heated and sent them links to the premium edition and listed out what all should have come with it. So I gotta assume that helped my case and sped things along but I really don't know.

    I hope everyone else who is having problems gets them resolved quickly!

    I team I bought the eso with the bundle pack I mage to dl the first one that come with a pet but the other exp pack in not able to dl .

    I unis tall and re install and still no dice . Who can help out on this..

    I bought The Elder Scrolls Online: Premium Edition and the explorers pack didnt stalled, it stops at 100% everytime i try to install, any fix about this?

    Unfortunately it hasn't, we'll atleast not for me. According to their twitter they're working on it and hope it's out asap.

    same here was hoping to get my imperial edition and my crowns but nope nothing still

    I had high hopes for this patch for getting my imperial edition and crowns! Since im already level 30 id prefer to just get all my crowns at this stage

    This helped me..

    - Uninstall everything coming with the ESO download.
    - Clear the cache, see here: http://www.ign.com/wikis/xbox-one/How_to_Clear_the_Cache_When_Experiencing_Problems
    - If you have an external drive connected, move content from the internal drive to the external one to make sure you have enough of free space on the internal one, turn the xbox off and disconnect the external HDD(s).
    - Reboot and try to install the game again

    I got the issue during the launch day and these steps helped me out...

    Stupid things that got prioritized over fixing the Explorer's Pack/Imperial Edition in the new update.

    "Food items found in the world will now look and animate properly when consumed, instead of always appearing as though you're eating a turkey leg. "

    "Non-combat pets will now spawn into the game standing on the ground correctly, instead of sometimes being askew."

    "Fixed an issue where the video at the beginning of the game would not play smoothly."

    While these are nice things to improve upon they should not have took priority over the product you sold to people.

    You know this is exactly what I was thinking... way to get the priorities straight.. I just downloaded a 20 hour update so my pet stands straight... which reminds me.. I dont have a pet even though I shouldve gotten one with the imperial edition and explorer's pack.. weird..

    Hey everyone. We have an update on the Explorer’s Pack and Imperial Edition items some players have reported not receiving. If you’ve already put in a ticket with our Support Team, you should receive an update from them within the next few days regarding this issue.

    It’s important to note that the digital items included in the Explorer’s Pack and Imperial Edition are not all delivered to your account in the same way. Before contacting our Support Team, use the helpful information in this knowledge base article to do a thorough check that you are indeed missing these items.

    Please also keep in mind that it can take up to 24 hours for the account activation process to complete and your digital items to be delivered. If you recently entered your code for the Imperial or Explorer's benefits and they are missing, please wait 24 hours to ensure the process has been completed. If you do not receive the items after this point, please contact our Support Team and list the specific items you’re missing.

    This update applies only to the digital items associated with the Explorer’s Pack and Imperial Edition – specifically, the Imperial White Horse, Pledge of Mara, Mudcrab and Scuttler Vanity Pets, and treasure maps. We are still working to resolve the issue of players not receiving the correct digital perks, including the Explorer’s Pack bonus of playing as any race in any alliance, and the Imperial Edition perks of being able to play as an Imperial and transform items into Imperial styled gear. We’ll provide a further update as more information regarding those perks becomes available.
