Ahahahahaha... Current widely accepted definition of "zerg": any group size larger than ones own irrespective of tactics used, that is for sure solely responsible for performance problems.
Fixt, thanksDeanTheCat wrote: »Ahahahahaha... Current widely accepted definition of "zerg": any group size larger than ones own irrespective of tactics used, that is for sure solely responsible for performance problems.
@Leandor
Nah, "Zerg" = I died, so they must have had more people then me.
I've been called a "Zerger" when I was soloing without any ally within sight when I wiped a 3 man enemy group. One man zerg stronk.
You mean solo players that run with 30 other solo players?Lava_Croft wrote: »Doges is the type that has no trouble to run over solo players with 12 guildies, but if the same happens to him he will rage at you in whispers for a good 5 to 10 minutes.
So yeah...
Traditionally zerg for me means using numbers to win. The term "zerg" origins from Starcraft afaik, in which zerg is a playable race that tries to rush down their opponent with many weak units.
So yeah if you rather beat your enemy by outnumbering him rather than accepting to lose a fair fight you are a zerger for me. It doesn't really matter too much what exact size you run, it depends on the situation. There might be fights in which running 24 is reasonable but in most cases it is just to get AP without any actual effort which makes it zerging in my eyes.

We will kill everyone who crosses our path but we won't chase ppl usually (unless its you Kris )

This is fine and all, but it's affecting the whole server, making it unplayable even solo far away.When I'm running around solo (which is most of the time), I don't mind the zergs I can usually keep out of the way or more likely I will shadow them around picking off stragglers. I don't mind solo or duo gankers either as I can usualy have a good 1v1 or 1vx, but ganking groups of 4+ really make me salty when I'm solo.
But in my opinion war is war, and playing to win is playing to win. If I'm sat with a death recap then I was outplayed, whether that is more numbers or higher skill level there is always a lesson to be learned!

Was beautiful watching a full Decimation train chasing @Hexys on his low level templar on to the boat at Alessia bridge, and afterwards camping his body. Clap clap!

One of them /w me saying he got orders from the raidleader Tigor to chase us untill dead. At least he unlocked the slaughterfish achievement! It was not for nothing ^^

I'm curious now, what would you guys consider a Zerg?
We recently got accused of zerging when we were running a full 24 man group, wasn't anyone else following us it was just us and someone whispered me calling us no skill zergers, anyway long story short I saw the same guy who whispered me in a group of about 6 players (I think i only counted 6 May of been more) who were ganking between a fight and it occurred to me that's was a 6v1 fight from stealth from the very same guy who accused me of zerging
Btw I know they were ganking cos out of interest I stayed dead and watched them stay exact same position for over 5 minutes killing people before I got bored and moved off, (before you about at me I did warn people they were ganking tbere people just ignored me)

Looking mainly at you EP guys.
