Dominoid strikes again?

I have some questions regarding some of these styles. I've noticed that there are 5th tier shields and weapons for the races along with some other goodies here like the Mace of Molag Bal and other iconic items or sets.

Can you give us any other insight on this?
@ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_JessicaFolsom

Some cool stuff to check out in the image:
  • The Mace of Molag Bal
  • Imperial Daedric(Xivkyn)
  • Maomer
  • 5th tier weapons and Armor
  • Thieves Guild and DB armors.
  • Glass Armor
  • Alliance Specific Armors (Ebonheart,Aldmeri,Daggerfall aka Peacock suit)
  • Almalexia (Briefs/Panty suit)
  • Yokudan/Akaviri weapons and armor
  • Artifacts
  • Ashlander

Some of the 5th tier racial items are already in the game I think however not craftable. An example of this is the 5th tier Breton bow that I picked up on a lv3 in Stonefalls Davon's Watch. I made a thread back in December 2014 to discuss some of these styles previously but I guess we found out where the styles came from.

That brings up another question... Why weren't they included in the motifs?

The artifacts are amazing, and the 5th tier maces have this orc drooling. The 5th tiers could be the next evolution in crafting. Like how we went from 8 traits to 9 traits.

    @jcasini222ub17_ESO

Should be noted that they have been in the game at least since December 2014 as I looted one of them off a rack in stonefalls at a low level. The 5th tier Breton bow to be specific.

Hmmm then I am deeply intirigued. And you are lucky, I really enjoy collecting the oddities whether useful or not :) I should check this image list against alot of the "unique" armors I got in inventory.

Is where I originally found out about them.
Some of the 5th tier racial items are already in the game I think however not craftable.

Can confirm they are, even have screenshots of a few.

Can't craft, but they can be stolen from weapon racks around the world.

Well, let me offer some insight.

I assume that image is all items in the data files. You'll notice how there's armor for Lyris, Ayrenn, so on.

While many of those items are available to the player (or planned to be), I would assume many of them are also just unique pieces for specific NPC's to wear.

There's a small handful of dragonpriest npc's in the game right now.

@Gidorick I guess so. I've never looted any but I have seen some other artifacts be looted. Trueflame was one of the artifacts that @Benefactor found early on in the game's launch history.

I just question why they would be in ESO @Lionxoft. Aren't they unique to the priest that wore them? Didn't Dragon Priests exist during the Merethic era? I don't see how we could obtain the masks in ESO unless we kill a dragon priest and if we do that then how did the priests get there in Skyrim. The masks, after all, are specific to the priest.

UNLESS... the Dragon Priest MASK is like a crown and different bodies have taken on the responsibility of being that priest, so even if we kill the Dragon Priest Rahgot in the time of ESO another person will take the mask upon them and will BECOME Rahgot.

    Interesting.

I've been pestering ZOS about this during every Ask us Anything, they don't respond. I thought they dropped the style and didn't want to mention it again, but apparently it's pretty much in game. I have no idea what's going on.

In another thread I tried to identify the weapon artifacts. Not sure about everything but it's pretty close I think:

    Cleaver of St Felms (?)
    Mace of the Crusader
    Mace of Aevar Stone-Singer
    Ebony Blade/Goldbrand
    Hopesfire
    Blackwater Blade

I find it curious that the Maormer have their own style in spite of it being very similar to the Ancient elf one.

I wish some of the existing items used the correct icon.
The Ancient elf staff for instance, uses the icon of a variant we cannot craft.

Also the Prismatic weapons are Akaviri variants? Did not see that one coming.
As for the Dragon Priest masks, some of these items are NPC-Only, like Ayrenn's Helmet complete with hair.
The Dragonpriest masks are the same. There is a Dragonpriest in Bleakrock.
And this also shows that ESO is like Skyrim. Every item worn by an npc is an actual item.

Of course, we cant loot them but it's nice to know they're actually wearing them.

new undauted helmets, rrrhhhm useless effetcs & traits incomming
    Groupfinder:
The worst part is when it finally puts you in a group, your healer turns into a werewolf, your tank has 14k HP and the dps is heavy armor, using a restro staff and a two handed sword on the backbar. Then comes the 15 minute penalty before the cycle starts anew.

    Rulz of Morrowind:
    • The first rule of Morrowind is: You do not talk about Morrowind.
    • The second rule of Morrowind is: You do not talk about Morrowind.
    • Third rule of Morrowind: Someone yells NDA stuff, uploads images, streams, the game is over.
    • Fourth rule: only invited players can test.
    • Fifth rule: one invite at a time, fellas.
    • Sixth rule: crying or bashing on pts.
    • Seventh rule: NDA will go on as long as they have to.
    • And the eighth and final rule: If this is your first invite at Morrowind, you have to play.

I'm still curious about the 5th tier weapons and shields as well as some of the artifacts. I haven't seen a good majority of those in-game despite finishing every quest in the game multiple times.

I have an older version of the ESO client on my tablet from when I was putting ESO on my multitude of PC. Maybe I can check out how these have differed from launch to now and it could possibly give us a look into how far these 5th tier weapons and shields have been in the client.

Very few if any of those are in the game.

Some of the unused variants are used by npcs.
The most "advanced" Akaviri variant are the prismatic weapons.

Also the Maormer bow appears to be a completely unique model.

@gurluasb16_ESO I linked two examples with screenshots in this thread that are already in game. I'm just wondering if there are more. I'm fairly certain I've picked up the 5th tier nord shield at some point as well.
