New equipment sets / relieve from content draught suggestion

Dominoid gifted us with another data mining treasure:

And it got me thinking.

Besides the equipment that is still to come with future content (Thieves Guild, Dark Brotherhood, Glass Armor, PVP Armor, Xivkyn) or which should have been released but for whatever reason was not (Undaunted), there are equipment sets that have been in the game for a long time, but are either inaccessible to players or not available as motifs for crafting.

I suggest to change that, and add them as motif pages (like Dwemer) for players as a minor update before we see actual new content. These include:

Akaviri
- pages dropped from containers in Cyrodiil
- style item dropped from humanoid enemies in Cyrodiil (or found in containers)

Ashlander
- pages dropped from containers in Bal Foyen, Stonefalls and Deshaan
- style item dropped from Nix-Hounds and Kwama (or found in containers)

Draugr
- pages dropped from containers in Draugr ruins
- style item dropped from Draugr (or found in containers)

Yokudan
- pages dropped from containers in Craglorn
- style item dropped from humanoid enemies in Craglorn (or found in containers)

While there are already indications that motif pages for Akaviri and Yokudan are in the works, this process should be sped up and include Ashlander and Draugr motifs.

Additionally, I've always been confused why there are no craftable sets that require 7 researched traits. I'd suggest to add 3 new sets that require 7 traits researched, all with crafting stations in Cyrodiil.
Morihaus' Hide
(2 items) Adds Spell Resistance
(3 items) Adds Health
(4 items) Adds Health Recovery
(5 items) Weapon attacks grant Minor Resolve and Minor Ward for 10 seconds

Alessia's Defiance
(2 items) Adds Weapon Damage
(3 items) Adds Stamina Recovery
(4 items) Adds Stamina
(5 items) Weapon attacks grant Minor Savagery and Minor Brutality for 10 seconds

Sight of Marukh
(2 items) Adds Spell Damage
(3 items) Adds Magicka
(4 items) Adds Spell Resistance
(5 items) Weapon attacks grant Minor Prophecy and Minor Sorcery for 10 seconds

These sets, in conjunction with the Akaviri motif, should contribute to make Cyrodiil a place for more activities than zergfests, which fits into the recent changes to anchors and delves in Cyrodiil.

This update would add a lot of gameplay incentives without much development work, as it makes use of already existing art and systems.

I Do like the idea of crafting stations in cyrodiil. Risk vs reward etc etc.

    PvP only

You'll also notice a lot of already existing motifs have a fifth tier of aesthetics that can't be crafted.

For example, the Nord Shield made entirely out of metal, or the Nord / Orc Two-Sided Mace for One-Hand.

Another example, we don't get the option to craft two of the three Ancient Elf Mauls presented in that image, it stops at the first version in-game.

People complain that weapons and armor don't change enough in appearance as you level them...well no wonder why...half the content is missing from the game.

Yeah, so much stuff is missing for no discernable reason. This includes the 5th weapon and shield style for all common motifs (although the "Master" weapons use that style, e.g., the Master Frost Staff has the 5th Nordic style).
This is especially annoying because they are advertising with some of these styles when there is no way to get them in the game; for example, the ESO:TU page shows a Breton and a Nord with the unavailable shields in the "Alliances" section.

No way to get them in the game... yet.
I expect they have stuff in the game that isn't available yet so they can add it later on. I would think that maybe once they open some new zones currently in development, there might be new crafting materials that lead to the fifth design option...

Personally I am more hoping for them to allow us to craft some of the other styles as well. But we'll see how it goes, at least this selection shows a nifty peek as "things to (maybe) come"

I second that! It would be great to have more super-rare motiv pages to drop...

    More possibilities:
Necromancer - pages dropped from worm cult mobs, style element dropped from murdered civilians
Maormer - pages dropped from sea elven mobs, style element found through fishing
Soul Shriven - pages found in coldharbour containers, style element found through coldharbour gathering (1% chance with any resource gathering)

Looking at the "all sets" datamined image I realized how similar are all of them. I mean, there's a difference in textures, but for example if you look at the majority of chests and pants, they all look the same in shapes terms. The only one being extremely different was Sai Sahan's armor. In weapons, the one style that excels in difference is dwarven.

The helmets and pauldrons have a deeper design work, imo, and that is what makes one set differ from one another a part of the texture of course. I'd like to see more diversity in chests / pants shapes, adding or removing complements for example or please doing more barechested / "openchested" / "V" shaped chests. Giving the nords a "conan style" pants on the other hand and giving another example won't hurt anyone's eyes on a +18 labeled game.

Right before PC beta ends....wait, i mean at launch....nevermind, actually almost done, going to be in right after PC Launch date...............................

could work, but i think we all know what would/will REALLY happen, right into the crown store they would go.
