i think its very lame see and feel so many pvp veterans (vr14 and many cp) destroying helpless lower ranks, especially repeatedly is small time frame. Where is your pride i want to know? do you realize that lower ranks are not there for cp farming for trials speedruns but do some quests in cyrodiil is the only way to become good aly or strong enough enemy in a reasonable time frame? And no, cadwell crap is not content i want play with my main, thanks for asking. Now i am vr11 and only once (when i was vr1) i was letting live, since than veterans really like roflstomping others, from behind especially and at more numbers too, power creep is so huge in this game, once someone make first hit on me i have no chance. Zenimax told us you cant have instanced pvp, so there is no chance play against equally geared enemy sadly. And yes when i easy kill someone (rarely) i will not killing him again even if i can easily, i let him play couse i know how hard it is. And no i dont want to build a city in one day i want have fun with game and boring grinding is not the way it is expected to play i think. my guild is big, but not so active to play with me so often. So what is forum folks thinks about it, i am curious...

i stopped reading at "Coldwell crap".

You want to level? Do quests. Grind is dead. And check zone chat for people doing dungeons EVEN if it's scaled down to VR1 or whatever, still gives out point. VR14 is now only 1-mill XP for all 14 of them. Getting to VR14 is easier today than ever.

Doing PvE in Cyrodiil to level up VR is like taking your labrador puppy into a pitbull fight, hoping 1 day she'll be able to defend herself.

Cyrodiil is a *** dogfight cage. you get in, you better prepare. run in groups. build tanky. carry some sieges. play from range. until u can go v12 at least then you entered the same playing field.

Me? Personally, low levels are easy AP. Nothing more.

I got wrecked a lot in VR3 when i jumped in, but after alot of learning, questing, leveling, practicing, starting VR6 im starting to have fun, VR10 i can hold my own against most, but it's still a lot better to go with the group and be a support character.

If they don't attack me first, I don't attack them, if they're level 30 or below I completely ignore them.

I wiped the floor with a vr 14 on my DK when it was level 24. levels dont mean much.

You want to level? Do quests. Grind is dead.

Grinding mobs is by far the fastest leveling mechanism.

I have my own rules of engagement, but mostly I just show no hostile intent and see how they respond. I've even gone to the extent of letting a player exhaust himself attacking me to see if he would give up and walk away. Instead he forced my hand and was promptly sent back to his side of the map.

Underneath our alliances markers we're all just human beings playing a video game to have fun. Killing lower levels or grouping up on questing players feels like I'm causing someone to have a bad time with little to no improvement of my own game. It also breeds more ganking because the person you kill will usually do it to someone weaker when the opportunity presents itself.

That said, there is nothing really wrong with people making a game of it and playing the role of a bad guy, if that's what they enjoy. The game needs bad guys to keep us on our toes.

I have given so many lowbies in cyrodill a pass when I see them out questing, as long as they do not attack they can go on their merry way, I was given some passes on my lowbie and I pay if forward, now in the heat of battle I do not take time to look at levels names or anything else all I see is red and it is trying to kill me. I even give vr ranks a pass if questing and not attacking me when I am questing, my main pride is with my faction, some days that's a hard thing to do..LOL

Almost everyone has an alt. That low rank enemy I am killing may belong to a very high level and competent player who deserves no quarter.

Furthermore, I spend the majority of my time in Xv1s. If I had a nickel for every time I spares a lowbie out of pity just to have him almost get me killed in those Xv1s (because they are spamming cc).

It's pvp. They need to learn somehow.
