back when I PvPed, I RARELY ever jumped anyone below VR1. in straight up combat i would ignore them and find a veteran rank character to fight. I've even fled from pre vets when they attacked because i did not want to soil their spirits by effortlessly killing them. heck i even hesitated jumping people below VR9ish... i often passed up a VR5 or 8 for a VR14.
People that take pride in killing players that stand no chance against are just bad sports. Leave them to their mindsets; arguing about it solves nothing. Not every vet PvPer is like that.
I remember wandering around bloodthorn after playing on a dead Dawnbreaker 1.0 campaign. We got bored and decided we'd find some good fights ! About 20 minutes in i got facerolled by some v3 dk. I was v7 and pretty pissed. It took two of us (and one of us definetly got rekt) before that SoB went down. I think his name was Sypher or something. Our little group tried to 1v1 that v3 dk but he proceeeded to beat us in a variety of ways.
I never took ranks to mean that much after that day and not much has changed. Tons of v14's but thats' not what makes anyone OP.

Panda - you cant convince me to let a lower lvl player live due to "honor". How many times has your "honor" gotten your own allies killed after that lowbie level 30 set up a coldharbour siege and decimated a friendly raid?
OP - if you play pvp...you are in danger of being attacked. If you don't like it go play The Sims or some damn game that is not warfare focused. Or you can also L2P.
Curious...with npc's 5 levels under you, there are no rewards. Why not have the same system in Cyrodil? Gankers would hate that, of course...but why should a v14 get rewarded for killing a level 30 at all??

That level 30 can still be a threat on the field with siege, just as much as anyone else can be.
With your mind set, why even allow pre vets into a veteran dominated campaign?

I think I see enemies and I kill them. I don't even bother looking at nametags or levels.
Pride, honor and such, don't apply to pvp.

thats always what folk say like its some uber macho thing they,re doing.. i can picture folk saying stuff like that thinking it sounds like clint eastwood.
in reality its more like bawbags will be bawbags . so if someones a bawbag IRL they usually act like one in game. more so cos they have the added incentive of the protection of anonymity and detachment..
me i like to deal with folk in game pretty much the same as i would if i was playing a game with them IRL. spawn camping , lowbie ganking and stuff like that , while utterly within the rules of the game are still the acts of bawbags imo
If you are red, you are dead. It's not like cyrodiil is true open world PvP like UO or Darkfall, just by being in cyrodiil in a veteran campaign you are consenting to PvP with anyone up to and including VR14s.

Lol most peeps wont know what a bawbag is, I do, being a Scot.
But war is war, as I mentioned previously in thread, anyone in PvP is a potential target:P
I don't even really look at level when pvping. If someone dies immediately, thats the only time I realize that they are underleveled, and by then it's too late.
