You telling me that they are so busy they cant even post a little "thank you loyal customers for your patronage this past year" or anything? Come on.
you ideas the same everybody's demanding that they make all these fixes and that new content and then everybody wants for special events and special recognition for an anniversary and although they have not been mentioned in this thread there have been multiple threads made white people what they celebrated in game as well.
bottom line I think an anniversary present should be at the bottom of the list of priorities at this particular moment.
Who asked for a present? Also considering they have stated we get no new content until the console launch "settles down". So looking at fall.
bottom line is you want to do something for the. anniversary call it the present don't call it a present call it a special pat on the back for being such a loyal fan either way its a waste of time and resources because if they get sidetracked too much new content won't come until way after fall.
When I say do something maybe they could like post something on the forum. I mean you act like flipping a switch giving everyone a 10% xp bonus for the day would take some team of developers years to do. Its a flip of a switch. Also things they could do could entail maybe giving everyone 10% off store purchase coupon or something. All easily done and I doubt the guy who does store coupons is working on the imperial city.
you do realize even doing something as simple as a 10% experience boost for the day is a lot more complicated than just flipping a switch. secondly what does it matter if they recognize anniversary or not?
Its not more complicated. You hit a button that changes a flag. Mailing a 10% coupon is as easy as hitting "send all" and enter.

You assume that they wrote the code that created this magical button of bonus already. I find it highly unlikely such a button was ever coded by ZOS!

in the 22 years ive been online gaming, I've never seen an MMO miss their own anniversary. personally i think it is an insult to their customers for not acknowledging their loyalty for the last year.

However, I am disappointed and even puzzled why they didn't post a simple web page article recognizing the milestone and thanking the fans for their support. I first thought maybe the Good Friday and Easter holiday weekend may have prevented them from recognizing it; but they posted an article on Friday about more Crown Store pets.
It's all so very weird and it makes me wonder if they appreciate us.
I didn't expect anything super special but to me, it would have been nice to at least see a post on the forums from ZOS acknowledging the anniversary.
Not one word from them. Now that's sad.
Imma drunkdance nekkid on the docks at sunset in Auridon as we did in days of old.jamesharv2005ub17_ESO wrote: »I havent seen a single word about the one year anniversary of the game. ZOS are you guys going to do anything in-game for it?
Ah. The golden Beta Days.

I still think it's a great game, but c'mon ZOS, throw an in-game party don't leave it up to RP, that's lazy.

Who would have thought that we would miss the days of being fed PR fluff. Lol
