Wrecking Blow impossible to bash/interrupt

As title says, that skill need fix as it cant be interrupt/bashed.

    While I think the damage on Wrecking Blow needs to be tuned down just a tad, I think that making it uninterruptable was a good change....same with Rapid Strikes.

    It have strong cc and tons of dmg. And on pts you can pretty much spam it and your stamina regen fast enough to make it endless. Way too strong ability if you cant even interrupt its cast.

    Believe it or not, this is intentional. As someone above says, it was in the patch notes.

    We brought this up during a feedback session, and the reasons cited mostly had to do with Crushing Shock and Venom Arrow.

    1. Simply move away. If out of melee range it wont connect but still cost the attackers stamina.
    2. Dodge roll away.
    3. Block. IMO these hard hitting attacks are the ones that should be blocked. Blocking everything is just poor stamina management.
    4. Spiked Bone Shield: I want to test this to see if it returns all melee based damage including weapon abilities like Wrecking blow. If so this is a great counter against 2-hand builds.

    Many players have no experience with trying to use Wrecking Blow in PvP, and are in for a surprise. Its not as easy to connect as most are assuming. It requires melee ranged and a cast time.

    I see many players trying the Wrecking Blow build and finding they miss more attacks then they connect and thus switch to something else. Skilled players will do much better with the build but it still comes with problems.

    Skilled players will likely be able to counter Wrecking Blow pretty easily.

    The animation is pretty obvious so tossing up a block or dodge rolling out of the area shouldn't be an issue. As was stated above, it's powerful in the right situation and there aren't many people (that I've seen) that use it to good effect.

    I am okay with morphing crystal shards into an uninterruptable melee range ability. However, I suspect that this would just result in more Sorc crying.,

    Yeah, it's not super easy to land and 1 second is plenty of time to dodge it/shield/block/CC

    Block is not solution as person spamming it regen enough stamina to do it every 1 second and person blocking waste average 5k stamina per hit which wont be regen fast enough. Dodging? In 2 melee fight if you start dodge it you never does any attack as WB is being spammed one after another and its enough for one to hit without block to rip half your hp and put you on the ground while next hit is coming.
    No combat ever should be based on spamming 1 skill or its *** gameplay not worth playing.

    The changes to not being able to bash interrupt Wrecking Blow along with not being able interrupt heavy attacks, resto staff in particular means I will spend very little time in pvp come 1.6

    Its the dumbest change I think I can ever remember. Your supposed to dodge roll, which costs twice as much stamina as bash, because heaven forbid I bash you in melee range because you were in the middle of winding up your crushing blow...meanwhile if the rng decides not to give me a frag proc, you can interrupt me all day long. Such fun right?

    The only way wrecking blow should not be interruptible is if they have immovable up. Because according to melee that's not fair because they "take risks" when most casters are in light armor and can be 1-2 shitted easily, but we take no risks....sure....

    And that right there is why wrecking blow is far more valuable than frags. Give sorcs a spammable melee reflect and we're good. No worries, we will just have it reflect only 4 melee attacks for 133% damage.

    I liked the ability on live-- it does good damage and has the CC, but is hard to land and interruptable. It was pretty balanced.

    Making it uninterruptable is a recipe for abuse.

    I'm saying this as (currently) a 2-H Templar, who will be using it either way. Don't make it uninterruptable. If you want to buff it, reduce the cast time a bit or raise the damage (which is already high). But nothing that is high damage AND CC should be uninterruptable.

    Sure, but 1 second, not 0.8.

    I don't see why it would need to be a projectile with a 7m range.

    this game really erks me with block casting and such anyways I think they need to revisit the whole block mechanic anyway.

    and on PTS people just bash to win is stupid. Bash does way to much damage.

    Risk vs Reward. Should be a simple concept to balance things around,

    Even if scales only absorbed projectiles, it would still be OP as f***. Not only does it nullify half of the abilities in the game, it actually reflects them. A reflected shards proc hits much harder than a casted one. Its absurd. Don't even get me started on Meteor. I can't believe ZOS thinks this is a good mechanic.

    Wrecking blow cannot be interrupted. It was intentional change made 3 months ago ...

    Resto staff heavy attack is bashable in 1.6, if i remember the patchnotes correctly.

    Its a good change. There are too many stuns and interrupts flying through the air from ranged users who have the luxury of being at a distance when they cast or channel.

    If you are in the thick of things swinging a greatsword, you should be able to do so without interrupts, if you cant eat a greatsword blow, get out of the way.

    All you have to do is cyrcle strafe around someone trying to wrecking blow you. Its pretty much impossible to land in that case.

    Against a DK you can go **** yourself with a cactus though ;)

    As a melee fighter style we need some skiils that make damage in one hit because targets are very dificult to hit or stay close.
