    caterpillar. caterpillar mount.
my faith in the forthcoming of Riding Caterpillars has not faded.
many honest dudes now believe that caterpillar can be the only true choice following camels that .... camels.

    btw no lore contradiction risks:

"...A Nordic hunter and a 'City Orc' both stood about a table quarreling with one another about whether or not the Orcs of the West truly road great, woolly caterpillar-like beasts as steeds...
...And so, honored Lady, I believe you might have already guessed my question: Are the woolly, caterpillar-steeds of the mountain Orcs a true form of mount to the ever-savage orcs? Or, are they simply fictitious nonsense; a myth conjured up by the barbarians? (It isn't hard to imagine that Orcs, with such naturally low intelligence, could mistake a bear for this 'woolly worm'.) I can only presume that the warriors of the sands would have encountered such steeds during their sacking of Wrothgar had they been real.
I'd appreciate any insight you may have on this matter. As would a great many tavern-owners.
    May Owl spread your knowledge,

@seka55 Fan-created questions cannot be used as lore-based evidence. The answer to the question is official lore though:
“All right, maybe a bear can't be easily mistaken for a giant woolly caterpillar. However, no such beast is mentioned in either De Brazy's 'Steeds of Tamriel' or Luponio's 'Mounts of the World,' so it's probably safe to regard them as mythical. (I've always found the Orcs to be more fanciful than most people think!)"

Saying that, many people believe that the echatere is actually what was originally considered a giant woolly caterpillar. I would love an echatere mount.

What? Caterpillars have 6 legs, and so do echatere. (Caterpillars also have 10 prolegs, but we'll not go there...)

By the way, both the fan-created question and the related official answer are mistaken (and so was I); the original source states a shaggy giant centipede, rather than a giant woolly caterpillar.
    PGE1: The Wild Regions

And here's a picture from elsewhere on the forums with a bit of description of how a herd of echatere could be mistaken for a shaggy centipede:

Kind of like a furry centipede. I could see someone thinking that's what they were. ESPECIALLY if they were frightened

MOST of caterpillars have legs (there are exceptions but we'll not go there - as there is a dense dark forest of gerontology*)

lol lol - the picture is awsome. it has dried my tears - i started to want echatere also.

and you definitely earn your daily bread - it was not easy to change my stubborn mind right?

Can you please advise when is Jewellery crafting going to be implemented?
Being on back burner or soon will not cut it as game has been going for over 2 years and still no honest answers, nor any commitment.

I guess you won't say Jewellery crafting will never be implemented as that would force players to either leave, or demand it's implementation, so by avoidance your saving a backlash you don't want, and a PR nightmare.

I stopped paying sub and refuse to commit any more money for DLC's extra crown items or perks
due to the still 2 years + and no jewellery crafting.

A lot of people I have contact with have left this game for lack of interest and the inability to craft Jewellery and other things, but they all mention lack of Jewellery crafting major annoyance.

Simple to make even playing field in PVP remove all jewellery perks.
ZOS took Psijic Ambrosia that lasted for two hours and cut it back to 30 min.
How do I know I got the recipe for it read it by the time I got a perfect roe to make it it went down to last for only 30 min.
You have to get equivalent item from the crown store that does the same thing and lasts for two hours.
(Possible profiteering? Make people pay by stuffing in game items.)

The issue that you gave beta testers jewellery crafting then make claims about being a master crafter yet one can not be a master crafter if a craft is removed form the game it is disrespecting the Elder scrolls series by denying a fundamental crafting ability for those that have played them and moved to this game.

There is NO way of improving items, the drop rate for Gold jewellery items at lower level is non existent and if there are they are so rare that anyone getting hem won't part with them.

I would like to have an option to change spell animations. I would spend crowns to be able to change for example my sunfire into a lightning or bloodish... I like my sun themed templar, but sometimes I want to play more dark character. >:)

As far as I remember, jewellery crafting has hardly ever been mentioned by ZOS, implying that there are no plans for it. It certainly isn't a case of "when".

I want to see a "mannequin assistant" go on the Crown store once the Housing system goes live.

Would like to store my sets on mannequins in my home, then buy an assistant that would enable me to equip any of the stored sets in an instant with any of my characters.

Daggers of Guard-Kill. First critical hit on the guard converts his stone ward into a 100,000 health point bar. If the guard wins the fight, he gets his stone ward back. If the player does, the player gets a stone ward for 1 hour, plus whatever gold and trinkets the guard was lugging around. Available only to Pact characters.

I'll name my pair "Butter Knife" and "Letter Opener."

A Barber Shop should have a place in-world and should be kept out of the crown store, as this feature would encourage creativity and role play and should not be kept behind a (real world money) pay wall. However, I am fine with the idea of selling a single-use appearance editor (not limited to hair) in the crown store.

The way I would like to see it is an in-world editor where you can adjust Hair, Adornments and Body/Face Markings with the same choices that exist in Character Creation, with the possibility of buying additional hairstyles, adornments and markings through the Crown Store. I agree that the Crown Store should be the only way to adjust other Appearance aspects.

Pretty much like the gal from the thieves guild in Skyrim, who would allow you to alter most of your characteristics with a 1k gold price or so, there should be SOME sort of equivalent for this game, in which most of us get tied to our characters for large lengths of time. Though, having additional creative options even with just a fresh character would be ideal as well.

I was telling a friend about this as a joke but after a while it made me really want it.

I would love to see a bright white unicorn type mount with maybe some gold adornments with red accents. AND when it runs, it trails gold glitter/sparkles.

    It would be AMAZING.

To be fair, it would also be (almost) lore-friendly. It's just the gold glitter trails that would take a bit of explaining ;)

I would like a replacement model or even a skin for the sorcerer pets.

The current skins look like they were left without a skin at all. It looks like an unskinned 3D model. I would love it if you fixed that for free, however if I have to get it done through the crown store I would gladly do it because it bugs me so much.

Also it would be nice to see some variety in sorcerer pets instead of everyone having the exact ones. Crappy purple
