Yes I would like 5 more guild slots or more.

So ZoS a huge portion of your paying customers would like more guild slots please. You seperate factions into 3 seperate entities, let us interact yet limit us severely to 5 slots allowing 1 PvE 1 PvP and 1 Trade guild for one faction which leaves 2 left over to somehow allow the other toons on the other 2 factions the same experience.

A minimum of 10 guilds is needed.

Well aren't you just the sharpest needle in the sewing machine! This poll in no way shape or form represents the entire player base of this game! It doesn't even represent the entire membership who deigns to check out these forums.

Since a huge majority of people would benefit from this change I expect a response from @ZOS_GinaBruno on the subject.

I have 3 guild slots filled, I only care about 2 of them. So no I'm completely happy with 5 potential guilds.

Currently only in one guild. I have been in some merchants guilds, which were nice at the time, but since I've capped all the craft skills, got most of the motifs and traits researched, I haven't really needed the merchant guilds and dropped them. Now I can twink out my alts all I want.

If you believe you need a guild for each faction, you should look for guilds out there that have teams across all factions. They are out there. Then you don't need one for each faction.

If they added more guild slots, I really wouldn't care. For polling reasons, I say no.

I said no, but I can see the issue.

The issue is that you need guilds to have guild stores and sell things. If this weren't the case, there wouldn't be so much need for more guilds. Sacrificing guild slots for trade-only guilds allows less for guilds that are based on other things like trials, RP or just social fun. Trade-guilds are good at what they do, so hard not to want to be in one (or more).. but it doesn't leave much room for more old-fashioned purposed guilds.

5 guilds are sometimes more than enough. I sometimes spend more time in doing guild stuff, i.e. crafting for ppl, helping with quests, getting stuff from bank, etc, than I do playing! I am active officer in 3, active in my 4th which is event/social and my personal guild. 1 is my "home" guild, 3 cross alliance guilds. I am totally happy! BUT, YES! Lift the 500 cap... Huzzah!

I'd like 1 more so I have the option of 2 trading guilds. I'm heavy into PVP so I've got 2 PVP guilds, PVE guild, bank guild, trade guild. If my guild could pull more numbers for PVE I'd just drop the one I'm in.

BUT WHY WOULD YOU WANT 10 GUILD SLOTS?
I thought 5 was more than enough... until I realized there was no auction house.

1 Guild + Global Auctionhouse would be totally fine for me.

I am a very big fan of joining a guild and stick with it. Identify with just 1 Guild. And then A global auctionhouse for trading. This 5 Guilds system only encourages the infamous guildhopping without the hopping. Guilds in most cases are just bla bla, i use it for its own purpose. Completely kills of Guild loyality.

But thats just silly me.

Maybe what the game really needs is an Auction House fees for selling would have to be slightly higher to not obsolete the Guild Traders?

Guilds are already three times the size they should be, based on proven formulas involving average concurrent members online and maximum nightly group activity size.

200 would be about right and would improve guild cohesiveness. As it is now, ESO guilds are an exercise in mass anonymity and diffuse identity.

Guilds promise everything and honestly attempt to deliver what they promise. Few succeed and I believe guild size is a factor.

Yes, you may say that YOUR guild is not like that. Or that your guild sends hundreds to Cyrodiil on a nightly basis. Yet never have I seen so many guilds in an online game with ghost town forums, empty calendars and unused voice servers.

A valid counter argument, in my view, would be that it's more a reflection of the game itself and the tools available to guild leaders.

The notion that people are somehow too busy to use forums and that planning is bad are often the same people spending ludicrous numbers of hours in the game chasing the mundane, such as dubious achievements which do not tend to be social activities.

And planning in this game, particularly on the PvE side of things, is just plain hard due to the nature and limited size of group play.

Simply put, the guild sizes in this game fail to aid community building.

Because some of us have toons in all three factions. That leaves 1 PvE 1 PvP and 1 Trade guild for ONE toon. A minimum of 9 is needed. I rounded it to 10 for a community guild option.

What I would like are 10 slots, but not the same slots. Let guilds classify themselves as Normal or Trade, and then let people have five of each.

That said, even if they don't do that, I'm fine as I stand.

I do think ZOS should allow us to pay gold to expand our guild membership cap. Let the standard be 250, then 500, then 1000 members, etc. Many guilds don't need all 500, while some have been forced to open second or third guilds just to fit their players in. This would also potentially help trade guilds to expand. That said, I wouldn't want to see a cap of over 1000. At that point, it'd encourage guild monopolization.

5 is alot already, in my personal opinion ZOS done big mistake in splitting community like that for each player in 5 guilds, maybe i'm not right. The thing i want to, is to increase guild max members number, even for gold cost or something idk, there are alot of guilds where many people want to join, but there is no place simply cuz ~470 members was online last 12 hours.. in such guilds GM cant even kick members for inactivity or something, cuz simply all are active.

If you consider "no" votes to be irrelevant, then you shouldn't have included it as an option.

The fact is that "no" votes aren't irrelevant, because they could represent people who actually see a down side to having more guild slots. Off the top of my head I can think of 1 reason why having 10 guild slots could cause problems: it takes 10 guild members to unlock a guild bank. If everyone had 10 guild slots then a group of 10 people could abuse the system by each creating a guild, and each joining the guilds of the other 9 people. 500 slot banks for everyone!

Here's to hoping they add it on the guild store soon, I have several PvP and PvE guilds that want me to join but I can't all 5 slots are full of active guilds.
