Update 6 is going to be HUGE (Over 100 pages patch notes?)

Um, that's more than a guide to playing the game would take, seriously, if they just told you how everything worked, it would probably be around the 120 page mark.

I think they might need to rethink how they are doing these notes.

Firstly I hope they provide these notes in a PDF doc or something rather than us wading through a 70 plus page forum post.

Secondly I don't care (mostly) about the other 69.75 pages as long as "fixed that stupid Septima Tharn quest that crashes the game" is in there somewhere.

Someone has said they are probably going to be 300+ pages.
Edit~ someone has said they have an unofficial source in ZOS, who has said 300+ pages, no official coment

You could probably just write a guide that tells you how to do everything for about 120 pages.

And God alone knows how huge the patch will be, hopefully someone will have the bright idea to split it up a bit.

Don't worry. During the weeks and months it will take us to download this patch we can spend the time reading all those patch notes

I do feel for people on sucky or somehow limited net connections though. I get the feeling this will be a proper nightmare for quite a few players.

Lucky you, only taking you a few months to download the patch, I think it will take me several decades, based on the size of the patch notes.

Another thing for them to think about is that everyone is going to be trying to download this patch at once. They need to have enough capacity for everyone to download it without their systems causing slowdowns or crashing into smouldering piles of metal.

I think I left my PC overnight when I first downloaded the game. Given the influx of new players over xmas then even players with good net connections will suffer if ZOS don't have sufficient download capacity at their end.

Wait I thought you said on live that you had hit 64 pages then the program/engineer guy said they only had 40 more pages of changes for you to deal with? So putting on my sleuth hat was that 40 pages of revisions that you had to implement into the patch notes already completed? At least they seem to be shrinking instead of growing so I am hoping this week sometime?!

Well he got a rise out of me as I thought "Oh #$$%! This is going to take forever!" And all I have to do is wait and play a functional game, no additional work for me. I would be plotting revenge for sure ;-)!
