Update 6 is going to be HUGE (Over 100 pages patch notes?)

By the way guys, I'm not sure if Senior Programmer - Ian Campbell was joking or not (he seemed pretty serious to me), either way he said to Gina and Jessica that they're about to be hit by another 40 pages of patch notes? That would put the total over 100 pages of patch notes.

Note: Warlords of Draenor expansion patch notes were at about ~110 pages ,with 35.000 words (The last time we heard about Update 6, it was already over 22.000 words). This is some crazy fast development if all of this is true.

Actually it really needed it yes? We did know it was going to be huge, but certainly not that huge. The last confirmed statement was 64 pages. (I personally thought we are getting near to PTS).

Also if they need to write 40+ more pages of patch notes, what does that mean for PTS? Are we going to wait 1 more month till they're finished?

If they need to write those 40+ pages, I really hope Gina has unlimited stock of coffee there, because she is going to have hell of a lot of work (She didn't seem happy when she heard that earlier )

1) why would they discuss serious work stuff on ESO live
2) Jennifer said "that's okay we don't need sleep" LOLOLOLOL
3) That guy was throwing jokes in every sentence.

Soooo no it was a joke not serious. Considering it was "60 pages" months ago and now just 64 and we're close to PTS, it was a joke.

I've rewatched it a several times, it certainly doesn't look like a joke.

Ian Campbell: We do have a lot of support from the Live Team. We have bugs coming up from Update 6. Most of them we've kinda put to bed..You know we're only going to give you another 40 pages of notes for your patch.

Meaning: They are still fixing the bugs from Update 6.
Meaning 2: Those bug fixes are not even included in the patch notes yet.

It's not crazy fast development. It's putting stuff that was unfinished at the time of launch into the game where it should have been anyway.

Seriously, no justice system at launch? It's 1/4 of any ES game.
Not putting in two of the most popular and loved guilds in is the same thing, was this really an over sight, or a way to pseudo-impress people back to the game after a year by releasing the entire game.

I would not say an oversight or an "intended scheme" to get people back into the game, but good game development plan because ZOS needed to see how ESO faired and functioned as a MMO before introducing ES concepts into the game that have never been tried before in a MMO. Launch would have been catastrophic if the justice system screwed even more things up. I think it's just good planning.

Anyone else think they might be overreaching here and these changes should be spread across more updates? The bigger the patch, the more new bugs risk being introduced ...

What he ment by that was they actually tried testing the patch internally and found the first 40 pages had no chance in hell of working so they re-wrote the patch notes to suit the new bugs added so they can claim they are 'changes' not bugs.
