That guy has been trolling ESO for about 14 months. The thread will be locked and he will be banned. One of those friday night no one is working trolls.

People caught him posting on multiple sites with multiple accounts. He would hype arche age then vouch for himself on another account.

Yeah It is suspicious, but this guy has 7k posts and is an elite member at mmorpg.com, I have never personally seen him lie or any indication of why he would.

Elite status is automatically given to anyone who posts a lot, it's not a special status.

He lied constantly about ArchAge in support of Trion. Given that there's already so much speculation about ESO and f2p, and the thread has no actual substance at all, it looks like it's nothing but a troll.

Earlier the mysterious ZOS employee was saying, "we do not have any plans to make any changes to the payment model of the game."

Now the mysterious ZOS employee says there is a big announcement next week.

Over practically every hacking issue or disaster that came up with ArcheAge. He'd say he had evidence it was the opposite, or was made up by anti-Trion people, even when Trion later acknowledged the issues as real.

From using that site myself, he has no reputation to ruin. He was and is the butt of jokes because of his devotion to Trion.

In related news, the Trilateral Commission secretly issued a mandate to make ESO F2P. I heard this from an insider who knows an insider. I have e-mail listings, but I had to delete them lest my secret contact be discovered. The lack of evidence clearly supports my statement.
But, I wouldn't want to ruin my reputation.

Looking at his post history seems to indicate this guys really hates ZOS with a passion, as well as the subscription model that ESO is using.

Doesn't really prove anything, but it's just interesting how his breaking news matches up perfectly with his personal opinions.

Ya I'm checking that right now. He obviously has an axe to grind...but at the same time, he is a well known poster to the site. He posted this info from his "sources" and put a time limit on it. So he is either doing this as an elaborate joke to everyone freaking out or he actually knows something.

I hate to play devils advocate here, but looking at his post history he hasn't posted anything like this before that I can see. So maybe he MIGHT know something. It would also explain why all the ZOS reps have been keeping quiet about the 6month sub being gone, and they haven't said anything to alleviate fears. They are being forced to wait for the Press Release to be issued by Marketing....which sucks! I like the current model

He is a well known advocate for the F2P system and opponent of P2P. Pretty much anything he says is inherently biased.

I wouldn't mind b2p as long as ZOS keeps expanding on the game. I would hate to keep on paying for expansion packs thou. I rather pay monthly (even though it cost more) then pay for expansions.

And you know this how exactly? Has the company made sales figures public?

This is the problem with all the hype about F2P (and B2P which is the exactly same thing even though no one appears to realize it). No company ever releases sales figures to substantiate the claim. They just say "yeah things are going great," and everyone takes the statement at face value.
