I don't recall any statements that indicate this is true. As a matter of fact, people in the forum here have said that they are still subscribed to the 6 month plan. Has anyone stated that, when it came time to bill for time, that they dropped them down to a 3 month plan and charged them at a higher rate?
I don't care much for the implication near the end that says that taking a vocal stance against F2P is "fanboi" while a vocal stance for F2P is "common sense".
I will say that both podcasts are very excitable over this. I dislike both of them and ignore them both equally, but I am sure those of you who follow them will enjoy the next few iterations of this battle.
This is a fact. You can renew your 6 month sub if you already have one.
The problem is Xbox and PS will not wave the live fees
One of my trading guilds constantly has close to 500 players. The interesting thing though is that the guild has to replace on average 30-50 players per day. The guild only kicks players with 7 or more days of inactivity. The player base is shrinking rapidly F2P is coming.

Better a smaller, better community than a large player base filled with annoying children. (Though I would like to see cheaper subs as some people play more than one game)

and Zenimax, please say something at least.
Lets say they deny it publically. People will still continue with it. Claim other companies denied it yet went f2p anyways. All that stuff.

Incorrect on PS, not sure on XBox but I think it's similar. Playstation Plus membership will not be required to play ESO on the PS4. This has already been public since January of last year. Don't know why this assumption persists.
Why post this?glitchmaster999 wrote: »The article posted on kotaku states that all ESO games and game time cards were asked to be returned predicting that ESO will either be going free to play or buy to pay instead of subscriber based. Is there going to be a statement on this soon? I'm not even sure I would play if it goes free to play.

I 100% know that ZOS develop trial-account system (since patch 1.5).
And I 100% know that f2p-games has no trial-account
