One of my trading guilds constantly has close to 500 players. The interesting thing though is that the guild has to replace on average 30-50 players per day. The guild only kicks players with 7 or more days of inactivity. The player base is shrinking rapidly F2P is coming.

This sentence says it all. No disguising which business model they prefer. It's amazing how many people desperately want ESO to fail just so they can say "Ha! I told you so!".

Nice catch.
Seems like I won't be reading articles from Kotaku anymore, if there is anything worse than F2P games, that'd be F2P fanboys.

Well if they can replace that many per day, then there isn't an issue because it means that just as many or more people are joining the game as there are leaving it. I recruit for a major trading guild. We also have to recruit every day in order to stay full and active with a 10 day inactive boot policy. The number is closer to 5-10 per day in a guild of 500. This is nothing new. It's been that way since day one.
I'm not worried at all. When the day comes that we are unable to replace the ones that leave, then I will believe the population is declining.

Why were they trying to contact Bethesda... its a ZOS game, contact ZOS about it:/ Unless Bethesda happens to be providing all the funds.

This is not sustainable.

Bethesda Softworks is the publisher. They are the ones that are allegedly asking for the stuff to be sent back.
People who are complaining about download times would understand why Bethesda might want the old copies of the game back. They may be re-issuing the game at a newer version.
Oh, for crying out loud. Again?
Yes it is.....The primary goal right now is box sales for console as they have pretty much shown the pc players where they stand. The problem is Xbox and PS will not wave the live fees (to allow voice comm) for this game as the sub base is far lower than was expected, so for it to release on those systems they have to go f2p and go for another box sale push. There simply isn't enough players to get those brands to consider losing money to put it in Zens pocket.
We can as always wait for a response from Zos however calls to Bethesda would prob be answered faster and almost certain to be more creditable.
If this was not the case all zos had to do is make a FORMAL statement about it in the forums.
