Check again, there are 2 different 4% weapon critical bonuses. 2*4=8% as far as I know.AlexDougherty wrote: »Um, it's 4% critical on the vicious serpent set not 8%.
But it does seem overpowered (yes, I get it's supposed to be a reward for a difficult challenge, but even so).

I wouldn't be surprised if it's actually bugged and is meant to be two separate sets.

I made s screen shot!

Please show me one of those that wasn't a complete troll or a misinformed post that was contradicted by everyone else in the thread. I'd really like to see it.deepseamk20b14_ESO wrote: »it's funny. And this is what I feared. Is there anyone who actually voted no and isn't planning to use that set? Anyone who considers crafted sets to be better and will use them instead?

Thanks, you just pointed out what's wrong with the crafting system.I'm glad that there are some high-end, highly sought after sets that aren't easily accessible simply by spending 25+ days passively researching traits.
Let me guess @PBpsy ... if you're not using stamina builds, are you:I voted no and I will never freaking use a stamina build in this game. I hope they add more sets that are this nice and require that kind of effort to acquire.

In other words, crafting is easy and the current highest-end raid gear, from content that 98% of the game population probably can't even come close to finishing, should be better than it. There would be no reason to do any endgame content if you could just go and craft better gear.
The perks for crafting are that you can get it when you want it even if you have to buy it from someone, put whatever style you want on it, and whatever trait you want it, no RNG at all. Being better than everything else is not a perk that should apply to crafted gear.

There is no endgame crafting. Everyone can do everything too easily. There is no challenge and therefore no rewards for crafters.
In other words, crafting sucks.
In ESO Live, @ZOS_PaulSage stated that there would be the possibility to craft unique items at some point. That would surely help but right now I don't see any reason to spend time in crafting. - a tank using 5x Footman (and soon 5x Eternal Warrior in addition to it)
- a magicka DD using 3x Wise Mage (Aether)
- a healer with 5x Warlock
- none of the above? please specify!

What will be the next item grind then?
When the next content part is released, it will add even better sets to force you to abandon your current OP gear.
Crafted sets will remain exactly the same, as they have been since June. The difference will just keep increasing until crafted gear completely disappears from the "decent" builds.
