Nice lag train yesterday at Alessia 0_o anyways loved that AD got owned because of own lag

About all the discussions and stuff like that:
Grats AD on winning though some of you guys can stop bragging that much idk how it should have ended with out low pop perhaps you won perhaps not because lots of DC stopped playing last days...

Anyways there is no point in discussing this any further lets just all play this new campaign and have some fun!

    GL: AD-EP-DC
Well, yesterday at least gave me some confidence in our numbers. DC really had quite some large groups being actively engaged in pvp. We just need to communicate better in terms of signaling an attack before a keep gets flagged. We should never have lost glademist to AD yesterday evening.

Oh and btw... That lagtrain was at roebeck. I remember asking in chat: "What's the status on roe?" The answer being: "LAG!"

What was broken about it? Azura is EP dominated afaik; a low pop bonus seems legit. Dont play on azura usually.
I remember AD getting low score bonus while being #1 on Azura for multiple hours tho some weeks ago.

I hope you understand how demotivating it is to wake up morning after morning to be greeted by the work of the unemployed yellow drone swarm. What happened to Haderus will happen to Thornblade eventually. No one wants to wake up with both their gates open and both scrolls gone, as is the situation for EP and DC right now.

And the reason why the low population bonus was complained about, is because it was and will be if you ever lose 1st place, applied even though your faction heavily outnumbers everyone else in off-hours, and is more often than not the first to lock and last to unlock.

...and therein lies the problem. This isn't actually war, it's a game. One that, played this way, becomes less and less fun for all the gamers on the underside of the current banana boot.

I don't mind losing; I'm a (probably) averagely skilled player who sometimes wins and dies often. The winning of a campaign means little to me truth be told - it's only points on a meaningless scoreboard that I don't usually even look at... and some extra gold after 30 days (an amount so small I can farm it in less than a night.) I like a good fight - one in which I at least have a chance of survival. (Actually, killing the current emperor and his lacky outside Arrius last night, with the help of 2 NPC guards, was pretty fun :) )

What I do mind is a complete faceroll by a never ending train of bananas mimicking a horde of ants, destroying all in their path. One that also, once the map is taken, camps outside the gates of an enemy faction to make sure no-one from that faction can even join the game. And all to serve the egos of a few misguided guild leaders.

Ants are pretty cool, right? Collectively as innovative and ingenious, as industrious and as warlike as humans. A super-organism. Its a good parallel, I think.

Individually, ants are nothing - useless, helpless, incapable of independent action. So to all in the rampaging banana zergs... is that why you play this game?

    Well played. Really, I'm impressed.

Ive said that i dont mind nightcapping when it happens once in a while, i do mind when it hurts the overall population of the campaign. I hope my banana brethren will calm down a bit with this.

You can just swap to an AoE bar and find a group to faceroll the AD swarm with.

Numbers only work when there's coordination, otherwise a small and well organised group can handle a disorganised mass many times their number.

Alternatively, move to the EP/DC buff server and have fun not doing anything

The nightcapping has nothing to do with AD and everything with ESO's PvP campaigns being won by the team who has the most players at night. DC and EP will do and have done the exact same thing, but now that they are not on the 'good' side of the nightcapping, it suddenly is something to cry about on the forums.

The same goes for the people who (in my case of being EP) whine in zone chat about the 'AD zergball' while they themselves do *** but run around in the same kind of zergballs, only with a different coloured shield above their head.

It's ESO's questionable design which is to blame for this, not paying customers who just play the game as it is presented to them.

Its only the beginning of the campaign, you can see anything can happen with AD catching up 20,000 points by the end of the last campaign yes we had a small amount of help from low pop bonus but the majority was us and DC/EP giving up.

Actually really enjoyed PVP last night, had some great fights with our new EDC group (white and light blue tabard if you saw/ fought us).

I don't blame bananas for nightcapping and early morning capping. I blamed them for cheating and in particular for cheating with low population bonus. I blame Daggerfall for not playing at night and early morning. This is the key why bananas can take everything on the map during night/early morning. Bananas are perfect in playing PvD. And with all the bonus things they are even good in playing PvP. This is really "working as intended" and no reason to blame them.

That bitter taste in your mouth must be bothersome after so long. Try a banana to take the taste away tomato might help to a lesser extent.
the only way DC nightcap us is when we have low population.. but no that low pop bonus was definitely wrong. when DC were running 30+ players and us with 4 players online defending Roe. Now the tables have turned so many tears.

It is a war though, It's AvAvA. Without the war aspect we would all be standing on the bridge playing a never ending map of call of duty.

DC on Thornblade is a terrible feeling of wasted man power and stupid decisions, For example today when AD have all scrolls and Emp and all DC guilds decide Chalman is a good idea to pvp at because of a few wipes at the hands of AD.

Too much credit goes to the AD faction, But in reality blame your factions guilds for being complete muppets :)
