Well, yesterday at least gave me some confidence in our numbers. DC really had quite some large groups being actively engaged in pvp. We just need to communicate better in terms of signaling an attack before a keep gets flagged. We should never have lost glademist to AD yesterday evening.DaggerfallTradeMasters wrote: »Nice lag train yesterday at Alessia 0_o anyways loved that AD got owned because of own lag
About all the discussions and stuff like that:
Grats AD on winning though some of you guys can stop bragging that much idk how it should have ended with out low pop perhaps you won perhaps not because lots of DC stopped playing last days...
Anyways there is no point in discussing this any further lets just all play this new campaign and have some fun!

Oh and btw... That lagtrain was at roebeck. I remember asking in chat: "What's the status on roe?" The answer being: "LAG!"
Yup that was a good one. And now we have empDaggerfallTradeMasters wrote: »Well, yesterday at least gave me some confidence in our numbers. Oo yeah i remember that stupid Templaroflight wrote that.
I liked how we yesterday sieged Roebeck to help the people at Ash and actually took it.

I noticed the broken AD low pop bonus in Azura's Star last week...Izanagi.Xiiib16_ESO wrote: »Poor Thornblade EU topic getting ignored now there is nothing controversial to discuss...

What was broken about it? Azura is EP dominated afaik; a low pop bonus seems legit. Dont play on azura usually.Lava_Croft wrote: »I noticed the broken AD low pop bonus in Azura's Star last week...Izanagi.Xiiib16_ESO wrote: »Poor Thornblade EU topic getting ignored now there is nothing controversial to discuss...

It was some silly high number, just like on TB.What was broken about it? Azura is EP dominated afaik; a low pop bonus seems legit. Bring back low pop..
I remember AD getting low score bonus while being #1 on Azura for multiple hours tho some weeks ago.
Looks like AD with their ridiculous amount of unemployed players has finally managed to create the Haderus 2.0 they've wanted for so long.

I hope you understand how demotivating it is to wake up morning after morning to be greeted by the work of the unemployed yellow drone swarm. What happened to Haderus will happen to Thornblade eventually. No one wants to wake up with both their gates open and both scrolls gone, as is the situation for EP and DC right now.
And the reason why the low population bonus was complained about, is because it was and will be if you ever lose 1st place, applied even though your faction heavily outnumbers everyone else in off-hours, and is more often than not the first to lock and last to unlock.

...and therein lies the problem. This isn't actually war, it's a game. One that, played this way, becomes less and less fun for all the gamers on the underside of the current banana boot.AbraXuSeXile wrote: »Breaking the enemies spirit is the best way to win the war

I blame Daggerfall for not playing at night and early morning. This is the key why bananas can take everything on the map during night/early morning. Bananas are perfect in playing PvD. And with all the bonus things they are even good in playing PvP. This is really "working as intended" and no reason to blame them.

I don't mind losing; I'm a (probably) averagely skilled player who sometimes wins and dies often. The winning of a campaign means little to me truth be told - it's only points on a meaningless scoreboard that I don't usually even look at... and some extra gold after 30 days (an amount so small I can farm it in less than a night.) I like a good fight - one in which I at least have a chance of survival. (Actually, killing the current emperor and his lacky outside Arrius last night, with the help of 2 NPC guards, was pretty fun )
What I do mind is a complete faceroll by a never ending train of bananas mimicking a horde of ants, destroying all in their path. One that also, once the map is taken, camps outside the gates of an enemy faction to make sure no-one from that faction can even join the game. And all to serve the egos of a few misguided guild leaders.
Ants are pretty cool, right? Collectively as innovative and ingenious, as industrious and as warlike as humans. A super-organism. Its a good parallel, I think.
Individually, ants are nothing - useless, helpless, incapable of independent action. So to all in the rampaging banana zergs... is that why you play this game?
Well played. Really, I'm impressed.
