Any word on the ridiculous sneak speeds?

    It would be interesting to know how many nightblade players use this combination of stealth-speed stacking in pvp. I imagine not very many of them.
    I use it in pvp pretty much all the time. What it does is allow me to hit one part of the battle field, then move to another, so I can heal or apply damage where it is most needed. It also allows me to scout and get back on defense.
    In terms of killing players, the only time it comes into play is chasing down fleeing players, or finishing off a wounded player by getting close enough before they get healed.
    The big disadvantage is you can spend a large amount of time without any 5 piece bonus set, you can get stuck in combat rendering the set useless, plus, it has no use once you are no longer hidden or are in combat.

    Fixed an issue where you could stack the Dark Stalker passive with the Night’s Silence or Shadow Dancer’s Raiment item sets to move at mount speed. This is no longer possible—you get the bonus from either Dark Stalker or Night’s Silence or Shadow Dancer’s Raiment.

    Sadly, ZOS caved to the vocal minority on this one, cheating vampires out of one of the biggest advantages they had to offset their disadvantages over players simply wearing a gear set in PVP, instead of doing what they SHOULD have done, which is set a cap on sneak speed higher than what a vampire alone could get but lower than a horse, so vampires still had SOME sneak speed advantage.

    No. They won't ever change the magicka regen stacking. Magicka regen stacking helps the dress and stick "most favored playstyle".

    The Night's Silence set is a non-combat utility item that is useful to sneaky melee playstyle, look how fast it gets gutted.

    Not just a dumb idea, but a move in the wrong direction needed for that elusive goal of balance.

    Such complete BS... Stop balancing PVE and PVP together. It destroyed balance in gw2 far too many times and you keep doing it to eso too.

    For starters.

    - The vamp+ set crouch speed bonus ONLY work when you're completely crouched. So you CANNOT be in combat... So no one is using this to get away from a fight.
    - Yet sorcs can still BE on and our or combat and be faster than anyone else in game. They can stack sets and have the best resource management in game and get unlimited magicka... Yet even when sneaking you're limited to your stamina pool... Cuz that makes sense?
    - You have people bitching about stuff like this that obvious have no clue what they're talking about. First thing I stated is never brought up by anyone complaining. In a race vs a max speed horse, horse wins vs vamps... Vs BE... Yep BE wins!!! Yet where are the complaints about BE? I that's right, everyone's a sorc and uses BE so no one complains about it because they're all teleporting around near endlessly.
    - Split things like this for pve/pvp... Remove certain sets from pvp... Remove silence.. Remove warlocks/LICH... Remove any other set that gives a blatantly "over powered" last bonus from pvp.
    - Stop balancing pve around pvp. I happen to love running around in this game and taking in the beauty. I also hate having to use my horse because I hate being knocked off it and having to get off to harvest or talk to an npc. Why can't I run around in pve with this set combo and actually enjoy traveling around. I'll gladly take the fire damage hit for being able to enjoy a huge part of this game, traveling and exploring.
    - Stop, balancing, pve and pvp, together!!!!!! Stop

    Hey guys! Just want to let you know that this shouldn't actually be happening, and will be fixed once we release Update 4. Hope that clears up any confusion!

    I hate to call this out but can you please explain WHY it "shouldn't" be happening? All game movement speed modifiers behave in this fashion currently.

    Please reconsider this change. I believe, along with many others, that the bonuses should stack like every other set/passive bonus in the game. If you are not going to leave it as is, then please remove the ability to stack set bonuses with all passive bonuses in the game for consistency.

    I have an army of crafters and I can run whatever I want, well not the 8 trait stuff, but who cares.

    It's too fast for my Vampire Witch. The Dark Stalker is so fast I have trouble feeding if I am not careful. Mine is just a bit faster than regular run and I can use it to sneak between all kinds of groups they put in your way.

    The added speed with the armor bonus is cool but almost useless as sneak. I have to stop all the time, otherwise I'll be into a group before I can stop. I don't use it.

    Well don't I feel like a heel. That's ummm exactly opposite of what She or other ZOS big wig said, in that "it was functioning as it should." Shrug. Guess it is what it is. Was just about to get Dark Stalker too... :( sad face

    Maybe they can give us a set bonus down the road that lets us enter stealth in combat, as along as we are a certain distance from all enemies (10m?).

    As a rogue NB, I have no ability anymore to play stealth... NB invis has been known to be bugged since day 1, but yet no fix. No good stealth set bonuses other than NS (which is getting the hammer). I simply can not play a rogue ATM, unless I level a sorc to V12 and use BE.
