Sure they are not Cash Shop? :pensive:

I just took this in game:

    6A7D37815B76D5CD6ABE79DCD7379F3F19924FAD

Remember, right now the cash shop doesn't work yet. It's disabled. Also, it's important to know, these are not costumes. These are non-armor clothing pieces, like the soul shriven rags we got back when we ran the tutorial. So, that image is a shirt, pants, and boots. I've also got a pair of fingerless gloves I can slap onto it if you want to see.

At the moment, the only way to get them seems to be by rifling through people's houses, taking their stuff, and then laundering it with the fence. I can't decide if that's a deliberate pun by the developers or not.

EDIT: Adding some more to try to clear up any anxieties...

    119717188DA5DA761F5D890EA729D4018C3E2AF8

And of course, the reason I can't show you anything outside of the hideout on this character at the moment...

    37F378FFA954CBDBFD83AD68A3894B09B9F8D33C

I ran up the bounty testing the to see if transforming into a werewolf was a crime for another thread. It's not. :\

I just wish you could wear them below/on top of armour, like in Morrowind...

You don't need to launder your stolen clothes to wear them... but it does feel better, doesn't it? B)

Not only do we have NPC gear in-game now.... But they are not fixed sets, and you can mix and match them with regular gear..... PLUS...

You... can... even... DYE THEM. I HONESTLY DIDN'T THINK THAT WOULD HAPPEN which is why it was a bitty little cliff note at the end of the thread!!

Wow, this is great. I mean, due to inventory concerns (although 1.6 will be alleviating a lot of my inventory concerns) and the fact that I won't want to wear any of this while adventuring anyway, I doubt I'll end up keeping any of this clothing unless I find some that I really like, but how cool is this? All you RPers out there have to be super happy about it. :D

I would definitely love to see not only whole disguises, but individual pieces that are purely cosmetic - so you can customize your own look. This benefits not only roleplayers, but also players who wish their characters to look a certain way.

The only thing that could top this, is making some npc armor pieces (or their whole sets) stealable, some key npcs has a really cool sleek look.

Even better news for RPers, I have found alot of other crown store codes for npc costumes.. (similar to the blacksmith, but various others like noble ect.)

The ability to wear civilian clothing while taking a break from anything combat-related would be fantastic for role-playing. I hope to see civilian clothing added to the console versions of ESO soon!
